Where did America skew off the tracks of morality, civility, and tolerance? When did we allow money to be the end-all and say all? Many say that money is the root of all evil. Therefore they attest money as the blame on what has happened to America. But the truth is that the LOVE of money is the root of all evil, not money itself!
We have looked the other way as some who are super-wealthy have bulldozed the little guy. While this was taking place, we have managed to soothe ourselves with prescription drugs and illicit drugs. We have eased our tiresome burdens of providing for ourselves and our families by numbing ourselves with too much alcohol, drugs, prescriptions, or other addictions.
The little guy, the average American citizen, has been bulldozed as our factories closed, and our jobs were shipped overseas so that men, women, and children in a foreign nation could earn very little money doing these same jobs.
So you see, it is not only the American citizens that have been bulldozed. Citizens in many nations have become the pawns of greedy business people and their corporate boards.
The American citizen has been played by slick politicians who lie, deceive, and rob us.
While many Americans have become less prosperous, these deceivers in our government get more abundantly wealthy and more prosperous. They dare to enrich their family members, too, with their schemes and tricks.
They bask in their riches while we are forced to work 2, 3, or 4 jobs to survive.
This survival does not include healthcare, dental care, or family vacations. It only includes working ourselves almost to death to have a decent place to live, reliable transportation, food on our tables, and clothes on our backs.
Why did we stop caring? Why did we become so gullible to their deception and tricks? Why did we look the other way as they pushed our abundant nation into ruins?
We listened to the media who tell us what to think and what to do. We became like robots doing the very thing that they wanted us to do.
We became so wrapped up in trying to survive that we told ourselves it wasn’t necessary to vote. We said to ourselves that it was okay to let someone else step in and decide for us with their votes
Now I am no way mocking anyone or blaming anyone. I, too, became too wrapped up in making a living that I didn’t pay attention to what was happening. We trusted those who took advantage of us.
But I have decided that I can no longer sit by and watch as people squander God’s gift of America.
The policies of the politically correct have utterly destroyed the once beautiful state of California.
I am tired of being told that our rights don’t matter and that the Constitution is no longer valid because it is too old, outdated, and needs to be rewritten, revamped, or done away with.
Our rights do matter! We elect the individuals in our government. The only reason they are in a position of power is that we put them there. As we placed them there, we can remove them.
I am very tired of political promises from candidates that never fulfill their campaign promises. Even now, for example, some candidates have packaged insurance for all into a slick marketing package.
What is a government-run medical system where all insurance companies are eliminated? That means no more private insurance. It also means more taxes for the middle class and those at or below the poverty line. How else will this massage undertaking get paid for? These false advertising campaigns are misleading the American people. It is time to discover the real truth underneath their promises instead of just listening to their “promises.”
We need to decide to get involved. American’s future is at stake. Our futures are too crucial to continue to do the same, which has been very little.
I am not telling you who to vote for. That is between God and you, but you cannot vote on feelings. Ask your self what is right and wrong. Seek God in prayer to ask for direction, wisdom, and discernment.
We all have to remember that God gave us a voice with our vote, and we must use it. We all will be held responsible by God Himself for our actions, and that includes our voting.
We cannot sit on the sidelines and complain and do nothing with our vote.
Now, you must ask yourself which candidate believes and upholds life. Who of all the candidates believes that life begins at conception? We are all children of God. There are no grey areas in God’s word, and one of His commandments instructs us not to kill.
Each life is precious, planned for, and anticipated. Abortion is the murder of innocent life. This issue may make you uncomfortable to hear or perhaps even angry, but it is the truth. God sees abortion as murder. Now there are a lot of opposing messages out there, but remember, I am the only a messenger. I can only end this paragraph by saying, “thank God” for His never-ending forgiveness!
God’s word is God’s word. It is so powerful that not even He can change or alter it. Both of these items are, of course, two whole separate blogs by themselves. Once you are face to face with God, you will have the ability to verify if this is true or not, but for now, we must stay focused on the current issue.
Ask yourself which candidate has created jobs, made it possible for more businesses to add more jobs, and brought jobs back to America from other countries, etc.
Ask yourself which candidate wants all citizens of America to prosper, to achieve the American dream.
Ask yourself which candidate plans to uphold ALL our Constitutional rights.
Ask yourself which candidate wants a smaller government so that we are not trampled on by a significant and overbearing government.
Ask yourself which candidate wants the very best for America and all Her citizens.
Ask yourself which candidate wants to protect America and Her citizens at all costs.
Ask yourself which candidate wants to make sure America has top-notch airports, schools, roads, and bridges.
Ask yourself which candidate wants America to stay on Her successful road of capitalism.
Ask yourself which candidate wants to decrease homelessness by encouraging drug treatment, by not allowing it to become so easy to become homeless in the first place.
Ask yourself which candidate wants to end the corruption in our government by exposing and rooting it out.
I could go on and on, but these are just a few of the most critical issues America is facing.
Let your decision be based on facts and do not let your feelings or emotions lead you.
Ask yourself which candidate will point America in the right direction and keep our foundation of God in place.
We are a great country because of our tolerance, our acceptance, our love, our generosity, our graciousness, and mostly because we love God.
America was founded on God, and therefore, we must stay founded on Him. He will guide us through these difficult times. He is the light of our righteousness.
Seek Him before election day so that He can guild you.
Please remember, if you pick a candidate that does not win, do not become bitter, hateful, and spiteful about it. See it as God’s will and move on. Do not let your heart grow infested with hate and anger. Seek God in this, too, to ask Him to help you to move on and not become bitter and angry.
We must not diminish who and what God is. He is there for every situation we face in life.
