Many might be thinking, “where is God right now.” Perhaps they believe that He has left or abandoned us.
He hasn’t left us alone. Now don’t get me wrong when I say that because there will be a time when people will search for God, and He will not answer, but we are not there yet.
That means that you still have time to seek Him out. You still have time to ask Jesus to become your personal Savior.
That means that you still have time to seek God’s forgiveness.
God has not left us. He is aware of what we are facing and what we are going through.
God knows and sees all.
Many say how God can allow so many to die and suffer from this pandemic, food shortage, etc.
God is a God of order and process. He has a particular way of doing things.
We, as humans, have sinned and come short of God’s glory. We have not followed God’s instructions and directions on how to live our lives. We want to live our lives the way we see fit.
Most of the time, it is a life with God not included. We often think we can live without Him than when we find out we cannot; we cry out to Him in anguish to help us.
And He shows up, but remember that there will come a day when He won’t. Are you ready for that day?
When we sin, we cause doors to open that God never intended to open. With those open doors, we invite the enemy to wreak havoc on our lives and our family’s lives.
Every decision has consequences, and those consequences, depending on the decision, are either good or bad.
Right now, we are watching and feeling the effects of the human race, saying to God, please leave.
We asked Him to leave our schools by saying no more prayer and discussing God or religion.
Because of this decision, we now have school shootings, increased drug abuse, increased depression, increased anger, and frustration, and increased suicide.
We told God to leave our workplaces. Now we have work violence, hate, frustration, discord, racism, and bigotry.
We told God to leave our families. We told Him we didn’t need Him anymore. Due to that decision, we have more broken families, more teen pregnancies, more families without fathers, more poverty, and increased abortions.
And on and on it goes.
We told God to leave, and He did. In His absence, we essentially told sin, death, destruction, hate, bigotry to take over.
Now, here we are.
What are we going to do now? Well, we have two choices. We can not pray, gove up, and continue to watch as the world continues to deteriorate, or we can pray as we have never prayed before.
We cannot give up on our prayers. We cannot think that prayers aren’t working.
We can’t just say that we have prayed enough and decide to stop.
God tells us to pray until something happens. He tells us to pray fervently and continuously without stopping.
Now you may be saying that our prayers are not helping, but I think that they are. What evidence do I have?
Well, it’s the evidence of all the increased turmoil. With prayer, things always get worse before the breakthrough comes.
God shows up right on time. His timing is impeccable.
So pray and don’t stop praying. Pray together as a family. Pray in agreement. Pray a loud so that God, the enemy, and everyone listening can hear and keep praying. Don’t stop praying!
Then, the next step is to worship God for your prayers being answered. Even though everything is still chaotic with your human eyes, speak the opposite of what you see during your worship.
Speak life! Pray life and blessings. God will move! He has to because God cannot and will not fail!
