Good Friday: what is the underlying message? It is the ultimate LOVE of God!

Today is Good Friday.
What does that mean?
Today, the world’s Savior died to take each of our places.
He was the unblemished Lamb of God.
Perfect in every way. He was sinless and bore all sins of all humanity.
He took all that sin to the cross, where it died with His flesh.
Why did he take our sins to the cross?
So, when we were ready, we could proclaim our rebirth via Christ.
See, when we come to God and accept Jesus as our Savior, our sins are already defeated on that old rugged cross.
Why did Jesus do this? Why did He die for you and take each of your sins to the cross?
The answer is so simple. Jesus did it for LOVE.
Jesus was God on earth in human flesh.
Jesus knew what lay ahead of Him. He knew the betrayal, agony, suffering, beatings, hate, and suffocation that waited for Him.
His flesh wanted to back out. His flesh had second thoughts. He asked the Father if this cup could pass Him (Matt 26:39).
But as we all are, He was subject to God’s will.
See, God so loved the world He gave His only Son, Jesus (John 3:16)
God gave out of His love for humanity.
If you are a parent, think of this type of sacrifice. How many of us would give our children to endure such suffering and eventually death?
I would venture to say that none of us would do this.
We love our children too much to see them endure pain and suffering.
We fight so hard to prevent them from enduring any pain.
Yet, God allowed His only Son, Jesus, to endure the most suffering, pain, and agony inflicted on any human.
Why? Why would God do all this?
He loves you more than you can ever imagine.
His love isn’t worldly. It is a love so powerful that it will change you forever.
His love engulfs you. His love surrounds, penetrates, encompasses, and is where His peace that passes all human understanding lives.
Once you feel it, you want to experience it more and more.
It is a love that can only be experienced in His Holy presence.
How do I know this? Because I have felt it.
There have been two occasions where He has allowed me into His presence, where I experienced His love for me.
That is how I can speak to it so profoundly.
I want more. I long to be there in that love again and again.
Now I am not unique. All of us can experience this.
We only have to ask Him and pursue Him.
God wants to be pursued. He wants us to chase after Him.
He wants us to be hungry and thirst for His presence.
He wants us to long for His presence.
Today is the perfect day to seek after God.
We are in trying times. Now is the time to accept Jesus as your Savior.
If you are ready to accept Jesus as your Savior, please pray this prayer out loud with me.
When I say out loud, I mean not under your breath and not to yourself.
Say it so the enemy can hear you.
Yes, it can be a whisper. That is loud enough for God, you, and the enemy to hear.
Today, if you want to seek salvation and Jesus as your personal Savior, pray this prayer with me:
God, I am a sinner. Forgive me for my sins. I believe Jesus died on the cross for me. I believe Jesus is your only begotten Son. I believe He died on the cross, and on the third day, He ascended to heaven and is forever seated at Your right hand. I accept Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior. God, come into my life and use me for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
If you prayed that prayer, you are born again. You are a new child in Christ. Welcome to the Kingdom of God.
If you are able, find a good bible-based church that believes Jesus is our resurrected King and Savior.
If you cannot find a good church, don’t give up. Keep praying and seeking God for Him to lead you to one.
There are many great churches online. Pastor Paula White, Bishop TD Jakes, Hank Kunneman, and Joel Osteen are a few of my favorites.

Also, seek God as often as possible through prayer and constantly reading the bible, God’s word.
Via the bible (God’s word), God will start to reveal things to you. His word is also your spoken weapon against sickness, lack, fear, etc. It is your weapon to use against the enemy, Satan.
God’s word is power! It will never lose its power, and it cannot be altered, changed, or revoked. His word is so powerful that even God Himself cannot change His word(the bible). Never forget these things about the bible! God’s word spoken aloud will give you victory in every battle you face.
God bless you!

Good Friday.

Can you imagine what Jesus felt this morning? I imagine He felt alone, abandoned, petrified, unsure, and wanted to back out of the events that would occur.
Remember, Jesus was human for a reason. He became a man to experience every emotion and feeling we as humans feel. God wanted firsthand knowledge of what it was to walk through a human life.
God also needed a man of flesh who was also God to walk through His life as the perfect unblemished, sinless God.
Jesus had to become the perfect sacrifice. A sacrifice for all humankind. A gift so perfect that no other person could or would have to walk His path again. Jesus was and will always be the perfect, sinless, Lamb of God. The blood shed at the cross is so powerful that NOTHING can defeat it. By the blood of Jesus, we are set free. By the strips He bore on His back, we are healed. Praise the holy Lamb of God!
No other person could have taken Jesus’ place. No other sacrifice could have the effect that Jesus’ sacrifice did.
God knows everything thing you face today. Nothing is too big for Him. He knows everything you feel because He experienced it via His Son Jesus.
Today is the perfect day to place God first in your life.
If you would like to accept Jesus as your personal Savior, pray this prayer with me. Perhaps you are backslidden. Today is also the perfect day to renew your walk with God. Pray with me:
God, I am a sinner. Forgive me for my sins. I believe Jesus died on the cross for me. I believe Jesus is your only begotten Son. I believe He died on the cross, and on the third day, He ascended to heaven and is forever seated at Your right hand. I accept Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior. God, come into my life and use me for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

Good Friday.

Today we celebrate our glorious Savior, Jesus. We celebrate the life He gave for every one of us.
He gave His life willingly for each one of us as He took our place on that retched cross.
He was sinless, yet He bore each one of our sins on that cross.
He defeated death, sickness, sin, and every burden at that cross. In doing so, we don’t have to carry the burdens our of sins.
He suffered through beatings, mockery, hate, thrones driven into His skull, and the agonizingly slow death of affixation.
I can never tell Him thank You enough! I am forever grateful.
He gave us freedom from the overwhelming price of our sins which is a price we can never pay. JESUS PAID IT ALL!
Today, if you do not know Jesus as your personal Savior, please repeat these words with me:
Jesus, I am a sinner, forgive me! Father, cleanse me with the precious blood of our Savior, Jesus. God, let me seek, know, and understand You like no one else does.
God throw each one of my sins in the sea of forgetfulness never to be remembered by You again.
I receive Jesus, as my personal Savior. Today, I am free from sin, death, and every burden.
God, bless me with a knowledge of who You are.
Thank You for loving me the way that you do, never giving up on me, and for pursuing me relentlessly.
In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

Joy to the world, our Savior, Jesus, is born. Merry Christmas.

Who are we that the God of all creations knows our names?
Who are we that the God of all gods loves us so much?
Who are we to deserve this type of never-ending unconditional love?
We are not extraordinary, but our God makes and sees each of us as unique.
We do not deserve His love, but He gives it freely anyway.
We do not deserve His Son, Jesus, to save us.
We are sinners and are unworthy of His tremendous gift, but our God loves us anyway. So much so that He gave us the ultimate precious gift this season.
Though unworthy, He gave His son for each of us to no longer be slaves to our sins. Thank You, God, for your amazing grace!
Today, we celebrate the birth of the Savior of the world.
Jesus is God’s word to come to life.
Even though we have been marred with heaviness, sadness, separation, and feared this year, we cannot forget the real reason for this season.
Today, we should be full of joy and delight with the knowledge that we have been spared the fate of damnation through our Savior.
Jesus, our Savior, is born for each of us to have everlasting life.
Merry Christmas to each of you, and may the joy of this season carry you through into next year.

Merry Christmas. Our Savior is born!

Destroying our statues does not erase the past.

First, does racism exist in America? Yes, I am sad to say that it does.
Is America a mostly a racist country? No, I don’t believe it is.
I believe most Americans are not racists and bigots.
I believe America is a great country where we fight for each other, stand up for what’s right, and defend the defenseless.
I see America as a shining beacon of hope for all the world to see.
Now, have we made mistakes? Of course, we have. No one but Jesus is perfect.
We have made tons of mistakes, but thank God for His grace and mercy!
Thank God for the blood of Jesus that redeems us! Can I get an AMEN for that!
Without that precious blood, we get the exact thing that we deserve. That would be death, and an eternity suffering in hell. God’s word tells us that the wages of our sin is death(Rom6:23)!
Now, America has erected statues and memorials to remind us of our past. This past is both bad and good.
We see those statues, and we know that we don’t want to ever go back to some of those mistakes we made and live them over again.
Why tear them down? Why destroy them? Destroying them does not erase the past and does not make us forget.
Destroying them does not make things right, and it never will right the wrongs America did.
I see those statues as reminders of where America should never go again.
Yes, we made those mistakes, but those mistakes do NOT define America.
Our nation is being torn apart by hate right now.
There is rioting, looting, protesting, burning buildings and American citizens are beaten in our streets.
When are we ever going to sit down and talk? Is it too late for discussions? Have we moved too far into our hate and anger that we can’t even talk to each other?
We have to talk about what is bothering us. We cannot keep ignoring it. Ignoring it is how we got here in the first place.
We can’t just keep telling people that they can never understand what living with racism feels like.
Of course, they will never understand, but discussions will help to make them see things in a different light.
We have to share our experiences. How else can we begin to fix what is wrong?
The shoe fits on other feet too. We will never know the road other people have walked in their lifetime. We can’t judge someone’s life experiences by the color of their skin. That is wrong!
Now, do I know what it is like to experience racism? Yes, I do. I have experienced racism in my lifetime.
It is ugly and hateful, and when it is happening to you, you know without any doubts that it is racism.
Now, by saying that, I have only been in a life-threatening situation driven by racism once. I was petrified!
There have been several other experiences that I knew I was being judged and looked at through the eyes of racism.
Believe me, when you are in the middle of these types of experiences, you know it. Again, no apologies were ever received.
Will I ever get an apology? No, I won’t, but those experiences did not make me see the world as a racist place that is full of hate. Those experiences did not taint my vision of this world.
Now, do I know what it is like to experience racism often? No, I don’t. I don’t think I could take so much hate directed at me all the time.
Is it fair? No, it is not! Racism has no place in our lives.
But remember, racism isn’t just directed at black people. Since racism is a taught trait, there is racism against Caucasians, Hispanics, Asians, etc. It goes on and on.
Somewhere that person that hates was taught to hate by a family member, a friend, a coworker, etc.
We have to stop teaching our children to hate! As parents, we will all have to answer to God for what we taught or did not teach our children. Did we teach them to love or hate? Did we teach them about God? We were supposed to teach them about God.
If we did teach them to hate, we are responsible for what they did with that knowledge when we stand in front of God to be judged.
Now acknowledging there are hate and racism in the world is not an excuse to hurt people, burn things, loot, and riot. And experiencing racism for yourself isn’t an excuse to do those things either.
Should we peacefully protest for things to change? Of course, we should. We should demand change. We should also require modification for all the injustices against people of color.
Failing schools, poverty, lack of jobs, low-paying jobs, and school choice are worth protesting for. We have to demand change peacefully. We also have to acknowledge and fix broken families. We have to realize that households with no fathers present are factors that negatively affect our children.
Now is it impossible to raise a child without a father’s present? No, it is not impossible. I have seen it done. But, this requires a strict single parent that will not tolerate excuses. This single parent will have to be involved in every area of their child’s life. It is a tremendous, difficult, sometime thank-less job, but it can be done and is extremely rewarding when all is said and done.
Now, acknowledging racism in our communities does not excuse us to fail in life.
We all have a divine destiny to fulfill for God. Once you know that and see that God is on your side, accomplishing that destiny is possible for nothing is impossible with God(Matt19:26).
A lot of us make excuses for not getting things done. We blame others for stopping us and for our failures. Excuses are lies we tell ourselves to appease our guilt and shortcomings.
When you know your destiny, no man, no hater, and no demon can stop you. Will it be an easy road? No, God does not do easy. We have to fight and scratch to get there. There are things God wants to show and teach us along the way.
Also, the enemy will oppose us. The last thing he wants is for us to step into our divine destiny.
So, in conclusion, we have to talk to each other, peacefully protest, demand change from our school board, our local leaders, our governors, our government, and our President.
We have to get involved! We cannot let the other voices speak up for us. We cannot make excuses anymore that we are too busy. We have to get involved. America, and other nations, we are teetering on the brink of collapse in our society. Now is the time and place to demand that changes are made. One voice does matter and can change things.
Most of all, we need to reestablish our prayer lives. We need more deep and fervent prayer(James5:16), fasting, and plated seeds. We need to rebuild the hedges of protection again.
The same is also true for other countries. God is the answer. Prayer works! Never doubt or give up on prayer. We need more prayer now. We need God’s hand involved in what is happening in our world. The hedges for all counties need to be rebuilt.
Don’t give up on God and America. America’s best days are ahead of Her. By the blood of Jesus, I decree and declare this to be so. Amen.

Easter Sunday will provide us a renewed hope to defeat this pandemic.

“My God, why have You forsaken me?” (Matt27:46). Those were the words spoken by a human man suffering the agonizing and painful death of slowly suffocating to death.
I am sure at that very time, Jesus was wondering why He had to suffer in such a horrible way when He had done absolutely nothing wrong to deserve such a fate.
He was innocent. He was sinless and was the only perfect human.
Yet, he hung on the cross in agony for hours. He was mocked and laughed at.
He was given a liquid to consume, but not as a gesture to lessen His suffering. It was given to Him to increase the longevity of this suffering on His body.
He was beaten to the point of being unrecognizable. His skin and flesh ripped away by the whip embedded with items to rip and tear His flesh off His bones.
What parent in their right mind would want their child to suffer in this manner?
What parent would willing allow for their child to suffer such a horrific beating and death?
Yet, God did this for you! Yes, God allowed His only son, Jesus, to endure all these things so that you could have a pathway back to Him.
Let me repeat that! God loved you so much (more than you will ever understand) that He allowed His beloved and innocent son, Jesus, to suffer at the hands of man.
God’s love for us is indescribable, limitless, unfathomable, unstoppable, unyielding, and all-encompassing.
Who else do you know that would allow their son to die so that you could have freedom from the wages of sin?
What other God left His throne for you? What other God let His only Son be tortured, beaten, maimed, whipped, and hung from a cross as He slowly suffocated so that you could have life everlasting?
NO OTHER GOD did that or will do that for you.
This Easter, the story of God’s gift of His Son Jesus, who takes away the sins of the world, has more meaning than ever.
Easter will not be a traditional Easter Sunday with church services, picnics, family gatherings, and egg hunts.
Social distancing has created an Easter that we have never encountered before.
We cannot attend traditional church services or family gatherings.
Right now, a lot of us are fearful. We are worried about what tomorrow holds. We want so desperately for things to go back to the way that they were, but they can’t, and I am afraid things won’t ever go back.
Like us, Jesus was afraid. These were the fears of a human man. He wondered about the pain, suffering, and what lay ahead of Him.
He knew He would suffer immensely. He knew he would be betrayed. He knew He would be mocked and laughed at.
Isn’t that how we are feeling now? We are afraid of what the next few days and weeks hold. We are scared about our jobs, our finances, our families, and our children. Food shortages have proven challenging to feed our families at times.
Many of you might even be thinking that God brought this pandemic to us. You might be wondering why such a “loving” God would allow such suffering, anguish, and death.
The truth is that this is not God’s fault. The sooner we accept that, the faster we can step into restoration. See, God is a God of order. He has provided a way for us to live our lives so that we remain righteous, but the truth is we are only human, and some of us live under the delusion that we control our lives.
Our choices to live our own lives without God has allowed this pandemic to invade our lives. We are the ones to blame for this pandemic, NOT GOD.
Our choices have consequences, as all decisions do. Right now, we are living with our decision to remove God from our lives.
Taking God out of our lives has had severe consequences.
Removing God from our lives was a mistake. One of the tons of mistakes we make. That is where His grace & mercy comes in.
He freely gives us His grace and mercy to overcome our mistakes. He freely gives His unlimited forgiveness so that all our mistakes can be washed away.
Do we deserve this mercy, grace, and forgiveness? The answer is no. We, as humans, can be rude, hateful, mean, greedy, and uncaring. Thank God that He does not see us unworthy! Thank God for that mercy, grace, and unforgiveness.
This Easter, we have more than ever to be thankful for. This Easter, the message of the love of God and the sacrifice of His only Son, our Savior Jesus, means more than ever.
This Easter, I am praying for a newfound hope, a renewed love of God, and a refocusing and determination to defeat this pandemic.
Easter gives the message of redemption. I pray God declares that the death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus, will be the payment in full to stop this pandemic. Amen.

Good Friday’s message has more meaning than ever before!

Do you personally know Jesus? Do you have a relationship with Him?
Right now, we are in the most uncertain times of our lives. None of us have ever experienced anything like this.
We are all in unfamiliar territory.
If there was ever a time to seek God, this is it.
What is keeping you from Him? Is it the idea that God is unrelatable to how you are feeling, what you are thinking, or what you are going through?
This thought is very untrue. God is genuinely relatable to each of us.
God had a plan to send His Son, Jesus, to re-create a bridge from humankind to Himself.
Like us, God plans.
God loves like us, except His love is indescribable, limitless, unfathomable, unstoppable, unyielding, and all-encompassing.
God loved each of us so much that He gave His only son, Jesus, to come and take your place on the cross.
He gave Jesus to defeat death and the grave for each of us.
God sent Jesus to live His life as a human. God wanted first-hand knowledge of our struggles, our pain, our lives, and our experiences as humans.
The knowledge Jesus gained an as human was also shared with God.
God knows and understands all that we face.
What other God gave His only Son so that He could have a better understanding of you and your life?
Jesus has experienced everything you are facing now as He lived as a human man.
Jesus Himself faced fear. While He had the knowledge He was going to be crucified and tortured, He feared.
Jesus asked God to let this path pass some other way. He sought another way out, but there was no other way.
No other human, saint, or false god could have taken the place of Jesus on that cross.
If someone other than Jesus would have tried to take His place, it would not have carried the same effect.
No one but Jesus could have died for us! He was the lamb who was sacrificed for each one of us. He was the sacrifice to save the whole world and to cleanse all our sins.
Today, as you may be facing fear, panic, uncertainty, and doubts about how tomorrow will play out, know that you can trust in God.
He is always faithful!
Today, as we are celebrating Good Friday, take this time to seek God out.
On Sunday, we celebrate the resurrection of our one true living God, Jesus.
You may be watching at home in secret as Easter Sunday services play out.
You may be ashamed to admit that you need God, but don’t let shame hold you back from the one most important step you can make in your lifetime.
You may be embarrassed because your friends will mock you for admitting you need God.
Don’t let anyone or anything steal your free gift of salvation and everlasting life.
Today, you may be a closeted Christian, accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior in the secret of your own home. This closeted pursuit of God is fine for now, but know that there will be a point in time when God expects you to proclaim Jesus as your Lord and Savior boldly.

Who is this God that left His throne for you?

Who is this God that came to be born a man to experience human life for you? Who is this God that experienced poverty, betrayal, temptations, hate, political, and governmental forces coming against Him, love, loyalty, and every other human emotion?
This God is Jesus. The one true son of God. He is our Savior who shed His blood for the redemption for each one of us.
He may have born poor but did not remain in poverty. How can a God who brings abundance to His children to allow His son to stay in poverty? Though Jesus experienced poverty, He did not remain in poverty. Jesus had to experience both.
There is no human experience that Jesus does not have first-hand knowledge about. He experienced it all. So there is nothing that you can’t bring to Him in prayer that He does not know about.
God gained knowledge of our human experience through His son, Jesus. So there is nothing we go through that God does not understand because of Jesus’ own experiences.
Today, whatever you are going through, bring it to God. Today, seek out the REAL reason for Christmas. That is the birth of our Savior, Jesus.
God gave each one of us the ultimate gift. That gift is Jesus, which is a priceless gift that promises eternal life. Today, seek out Jesus.

God, avenge those who have been lied to, and those who have been falsely destroyed!

God, avenge those who have been lied to, and those who have been falsely destroyed.
America has so many issues that are destroying our nation. Yet, those in charge of making our laws seem to do nothing but fight, waste precious time, and money of America’s hard-working citizens.
Blind hate has taken over many in our Congress. Their hearts are filled with anger, and vindictiveness has skewed their thinking. A wicked thirst to destroy all those who oppose them has made them stark raving mad.
Their wicked lies spoken over, over, over, over again has led to them brainwashing themselves.
They have thrown common sense out the window.
The rant about one thing while allowing their policies to destroy that very thing they claim is so precious to them.
They claim to uphold and fight to protect our constitution, but the actions they take hurt American constitutional rights.
Their greed for money and power has caused them to be dilutional and to mislead the citizens of America.
Our nation is spending money in a way that is not sustainable. Yet, these individuals will spend trillions of American taxpayer money to fix a problem that does not exist to the extent they are stating.
They would see to our booming economy decimated to gain power and to implement social programs for non-citizens of America.
They would continue to give jobs, prosperity, and the future of America away.
In the last year alone, no laws that would help Americans have been passed by the House of Representatives. Instead, they have focused on the destruction of someone they blindly hate.
I don’t care what political party you support. I am not trying to convince you to change parties, but only to see that our constitutional rights are being violated.
The constitutional rights of many individuals in the path of Democrats of the House have been decimated.
Every American should care about this. If this can be done to these individuals, it can certainly be done to each one of us.
We need to stand up and speak our displeasure of being lied to for years. We need to speak up and say that we don’t approve of the constitutional rights of specific individuals being violated.
We need to speak up and ask that their endless investigations end. We have to demand that they stop wasting time and money of the American taxpayers.
I know many mock us when we call for additional prayers, but we cannot let them stop our prayers.
Our prayers are one of our most potent weapons as Christians.
Our prayers invite God into our situations and permit Him to assist us.
Yes, we have to obey man’s laws, as God’s work decrees this but His word also says this about man creating oppressive laws in Isiah 10:1-3:
1Woe to those who make unjust laws,
to those who issue oppressive decrees,
2 to deprive the poor of their rights
and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people,
making widows their prey
and robbing the fatherless.
3 What will you do on the day of reckoning,
when disaster comes from afar?
To whom will you run for help?
Where will you leave your riches?
We have to remind God during our prayers of His word not that He has forgotten but to show Him that we know what His word says.
His word has to be fulfilled on earth. We have to speak His word back to Him out loud. We have to let God, our enemy, and even ourselves hear the word and promises of God.
Repeating God’s word back to Him is like reminding Him that He has to move. It tells Him that He has to take our impossible situations and turn them into His miracles.
We cannot give up on prayers and, most of all, on God. He will turn things around. He will avenge His people. He will cause those who lie to us to be exposed. His word says so. His word says that what man does in secret, He will make known to man.
And never forgot, God does not like liars, and His word says that too. In Proverbs 12:22, that He detests lying lips.
Proverbs 6:16-19, lists six things that God hates and lying it on that list.
Do not be discouraged. God will prevail. It may seem that it is taking a long time for the truth to be revealed, but God will see that it is.
