Good Friday.

Can you imagine what Jesus felt this morning? I imagine He felt alone, abandoned, petrified, unsure, and wanted to back out of the events that would occur.
Remember, Jesus was human for a reason. He became a man to experience every emotion and feeling we as humans feel. God wanted firsthand knowledge of what it was to walk through a human life.
God also needed a man of flesh who was also God to walk through His life as the perfect unblemished, sinless God.
Jesus had to become the perfect sacrifice. A sacrifice for all humankind. A gift so perfect that no other person could or would have to walk His path again. Jesus was and will always be the perfect, sinless, Lamb of God. The blood shed at the cross is so powerful that NOTHING can defeat it. By the blood of Jesus, we are set free. By the strips He bore on His back, we are healed. Praise the holy Lamb of God!
No other person could have taken Jesus’ place. No other sacrifice could have the effect that Jesus’ sacrifice did.
God knows everything thing you face today. Nothing is too big for Him. He knows everything you feel because He experienced it via His Son Jesus.
Today is the perfect day to place God first in your life.
If you would like to accept Jesus as your personal Savior, pray this prayer with me. Perhaps you are backslidden. Today is also the perfect day to renew your walk with God. Pray with me:
God, I am a sinner. Forgive me for my sins. I believe Jesus died on the cross for me. I believe Jesus is your only begotten Son. I believe He died on the cross, and on the third day, He ascended to heaven and is forever seated at Your right hand. I accept Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior. God, come into my life and use me for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

Good Friday.

Today we celebrate our glorious Savior, Jesus. We celebrate the life He gave for every one of us.
He gave His life willingly for each one of us as He took our place on that retched cross.
He was sinless, yet He bore each one of our sins on that cross.
He defeated death, sickness, sin, and every burden at that cross. In doing so, we don’t have to carry the burdens our of sins.
He suffered through beatings, mockery, hate, thrones driven into His skull, and the agonizingly slow death of affixation.
I can never tell Him thank You enough! I am forever grateful.
He gave us freedom from the overwhelming price of our sins which is a price we can never pay. JESUS PAID IT ALL!
Today, if you do not know Jesus as your personal Savior, please repeat these words with me:
Jesus, I am a sinner, forgive me! Father, cleanse me with the precious blood of our Savior, Jesus. God, let me seek, know, and understand You like no one else does.
God throw each one of my sins in the sea of forgetfulness never to be remembered by You again.
I receive Jesus, as my personal Savior. Today, I am free from sin, death, and every burden.
God, bless me with a knowledge of who You are.
Thank You for loving me the way that you do, never giving up on me, and for pursuing me relentlessly.
In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

What wages have you earned?

child-god-writtenWP5.25.19

Did you know that you have unclaimed wages? Those unclaimed wages will catch up to you eventually. What price will you pay to claim those wages?
Each one of us has 2 choices when it comes to claiming these wages.
Our wages are either life or death.
That is what God’s word tells us. He says the wages of our sins is death.
Was he saying that because we sin, we must die? No, of course not. There are certain things that we all must do. We all must be born, and we all will die. Thou no man knows how or when that death will come.
It is the choice we make during our lives to choose either God or the enemy is where we make our decision to have our wages pay for life or death.
Even though He knew our destiny without Him was death and destruction. He could not stand by and allow us to live apart from Him. He loves us too much to stand by and watch us perish. Even though we didn’t deserve it, He sent us a rescue vessel from our sin.
Because God loves you so much, He chose to give His son, Jesus, to come and take your place on the cross.
Our Savior, Jesus, took every sin you will ever commit to the cross. He defeated death itself as a man so that each one of us could live eternally with God.
Jesus saved the world from its path of absolute destruction. He stepped in and disrupted our way to hell.
Jesus rebuilt the bridge to God. He alone defeated Satan. His sacrifice is one that can never be repaid and one we can’t ever repay. It is utterly priceless!
It is a priceless gift that you didn’t earn and can’t pay for.
No other person, false deity, or saint could make the same sacrifice with the same outcome.
None of them will ever pay the price for sin in full. No other god willingly gave their only son to die on a cross for our sins.
No saint or false deity can every give you the priceless gift that our Savior gave you.
Do not be fooled by all the imitators. No one can be or will ever be like the one true God and our Savior, Jesus.
As we approach Christmas, begin to assess your life and the wages you have earned.
Are they wages or life or death?
As I mentioned before, no person is promised a tomorrow, and each one of us will die at some point.
Before you run out of time, take this time of the year to reassess where you will spend your eternal life.
Me, I choose life. I prefer to live for God today and forever.

God, thank You for our right to pray!

blur-pray-word-power-of-prayer-529763590.jpg

Recently, many American news anchors, actors, and many in our government stood up and brazenly mocked the prayers that went out for the safety and protection of the people that laid in the path of hurricane Dorian.
They continued to mock as those prayers also included the changing of hurricane Dorian’s path.
While some mocked, others in the media, our government, and our news agencies called for our continued prayers for these same issues.
The individuals who called for prayer were mocked, ridiculed, by those that believe that God does not exist!
I am one who will stand and boldly say that I believe God did answer our prayers and turned the direction of Dorian. I truly believe He protected America from the sheer destruction of this powerful storm.
Because I genuinely believe that He did that, I have also worshiped him for causing this storm to turn.
By saying all this, I am saying that there are people in America who want our fundamental faith in God to disappear.
They mock, make fun of, and call names all in the efforts to shame each of us that believe.
They do not believe in God or the Holy Trinity. They see prayer, worship, and seeking God for all things as a massive waste of time.
Their goal is to remove God from each of our lives. We have already allowed them to remove God from our government and our schools.
As a result, our children have become for the main focus of gun violence, sexual misconduct, insecurities, perversion, suicide, and mental illness.
We cannot allow our voices to be silenced. We cannot stop praying. Ever! We cannot allow their shaming to lead us to a nation that does not believe or pray.
They have even discussed removing God off our currency. If we idly stand by and allow this, then we will be very sorry.
If this is allowed, this nation will fall into deep despair.
God is the firm foundation this nation was founded on and continues to stand on.
The power of prayer is undeniable. Those that do not know God, our Savior or the Holy Spirit lead an empty life. How can they deny a God who created them solely to have a relationship with them?
Because of God, they exist. Without God, THEY would not be here!
Continue to pray despite their mocking!
One day, each one who mocked God’s existence will stand in front of Him to give an account of their words and deeds.

Today, make room for thankfulness.

thankful-grateful-blessed-on-whiteWP5.7.19

Some of us like to plan for our lives. We set goals which we see as attainable for 5, 10, and 15 years into our future.
What we don’t plan for is the unexpected. Life can take a dramatic change in one single second.
Not one person is guaranteed a tomorrow will be part of their future. We all make plans for our tomorrows, but no man knows when their life will come to an end.
Today, make sure you live your best life, live with no regrets, and make sure you spend the most quality time with the ones you love.

Never skip a moment that allows you to tell your loved ones how much they mean to you.
Never take for granted how blessed you are. In the blink of an eye, it can all be gone. Remember to be grateful. Thankfulness and gratefulness are the keys to a happy life. We have to be thankful for each blessing no matter how small and insignificant it seems to others.
If you woke up in your own dry, safe, comfortable bed this morning, be thankful. If you have a room, an apartment, or a house to live in, be grateful. If you aren’t under the care of a physician for some long term illness, be thankful. If you had a hot meal today, be thankful. If you had running water this morning to take a bath and brush your teeth, be grateful.
Some of these things may seem unimportant to a lot of people, and those same people may not even see these things as blessings, but do not be one of those people.
Be grateful in the little things so that God can make room for gratefulness in the BIG things!
Do not put your happiness on hold until some significant event in your life takes place. Be happy now!
Although we plan that tomorrow will hold nothing but blessings, life has a way of sneaking up and stealing that expectation.

Unleashed by God.

thankful-grateful-blessed-on-whiteWP5.7.19

Last week, I was blessed to attend Unleashed 2019 in person.  It was hosted by Pastor Paula White at her church. Attending that conference was exactly what I needed.
God did not disappoint.
He brought a now word in every session. He filled up my spiritual cup to overflowing.
I prayed for a refreshing impartation of God. I prayed to be restored, to be refilled with a new fire of God, to have a new focus, to have my determination reset, and to have a new appreciation about all things of God.
Before I left to attend this conference, I prayed relentlessly for new levels, new visions, new direction, AND NEW OIL!
Pastor Jentezen Franklin (@Jentezen) delivered a powerful word about appreciating exactly where you are now. He ministered about not putting off your happiness until some significant events happen in your life like getting married, having children, or graduating from college.
Prophet Gideon Danso (@gideondanso) is a true prophet of God. He astounded us as God revealed things that only God would know.
He delivered powerful words/directions from God Himself. People who were blessed to receive their now word will never be the same. They had a life-altering encounter with the God of all gods.
I was one of the truly blessed to receive a rhema word from God. God revealed incredible things about my children. He also delivered confirmation about my new upcoming children’s books. God floored me with what He divulged about the future of my family and myself.
Pastor Pushie Watson (@PushieWatson) gave a Rhema word about “New Oil.” She blew the walls down with this message from God. She sealed the conference with the “New Oil.” She helped deliver us into new levels, and new encounters with God through His “new oil.”
If you can get buy the CDs from this conference, do it. It was pure power.
Then Pastor Paula White (@Paula_White) gave us a small glimpse of her new book written under the direction of the Holy Spirit.
To see someone who went through so much pain and suffering rise up to such power through God is astounding!
You know that you know that you know that God has stood by her side every step of the way. To go through so much pain and still be standing is truly a testament of God and the fact that there IS something greater set ahead of each one of us.

Today, I am filled with new levels of gratefulness.

trust in God3.24.18wp

Who is like our GOD? Who can compare to Him? No one! He is the one true living God! I have to worship Him for He is truly worthy. Nothing and no one can compare to Him.
Today, I am filled with a new level of gratitude towards Him. He as taken care of me in an unexplainable way.
Just as He changed my own life, He will forever change your life for the better. What He has in store for you is something greater.
That something greater is something beyond your wildest dreams and thoughts.
I have to say “Thank You” to Him. He loved me even when I was unlovable, He is everything to me, and there are no mere human words to describe how much I love Him.
When the enemy set out to destroy me, our God took care of me, watched over me, and sent His angels to protect me.
When I was suffering for the consequences of my actions when I chose my choices over God’s when I opened doors that He told me not to open, and when I disobeyed Him, He loved me anyway. He shielded me from the sins that came with along my disobedience.
Just as He did these things for me, He will do the same for you. His word says that He is no respecter of persons.
Today, I say to you seek Him now for His word say that one day He will be searched for and not found. Voices will call out to Him, but He will not answer(Prov1:28).
Do not let that day come upon you without seeking Him first.

He will answer our prayers.

blur-pray-word-power-of-prayer-529763590.jpg

We pray for specific things asking God to bring it to pass.
We have an idea of just how we expect God to answer our prayers.
We put God in our box, we contain Him, and we place limits on Him.
We tell Him exactly how to do things because that is how it will perfectly fit into our lives.
But one thing we have to remember. God is not a man! God does not work on our timeline or schedule.
God does not work inside our perfect box. God does bigger, grander, and humongous things.
God will not answer your prayer the way you are expecting Him to.
God will bust your box wide open. He will destroy any preconceived idea of how He does things.
However, He does answer your prayers; it will make you stand back in awe of Him. His answered prayers will blow your mind.
Have you ever heard of the phrase “be careful what you pray for”?
God will answer your prayer, but when He does He will push you out of your comfort zone. He will bring a test to prepare you for the exact thing you prayed for.
Be prepared to be moved into a place of discomfort as God tests, builds, refines, prunes, and brings pressure to your life.
He does all of these things out of His love for us. He cannot bring answered prayers without preparing us.
Doing so would destroy us. We cannot receive our answered prayers without first being prepared.
