Speak generational blessings over your children!

words-have-power_WP2.8.20

What words did you speak over your children today? Did you tell them that they are wonderful, create, blessed, cherished, loved, kind, peaceful, grateful, graceful, and loved by a God who adores them?
Or did you tell them they are spoiled, horrible, rotten, trouble makers, instigators, bullies, ungrateful, and that no one cares what happens to them?
See, your words will frame your children’s tomorrows too. They will see themselves through the very words you speak over/to them.
They will hear many words throughout their lifetime. Always speak the words of who they are, who you want them to be, who God says they are, and of what they will accomplish over them from a very early age.
They can hear your voice as they grow, develop, and are protected in their mother’s womb. Let them hear these affirmations now. When they hear these positive words over and over in their lifetime, it is these words they will hang onto.
Having heard these positive Godly words spoken over them constantly and consistently from before birth will cement who they know they are when they are grown up.
If these Godly words are heard daily for 18 years straight, your children are likely to continue speaking these same Godly words over themselves and eventually over their own children.
Talk about pulling generational blessings into your family!
There are enough fears and doubts brought into our lives by the world, we as parents need to make sure our children know who they are before they face this world alone.

Don’t forget what God brought us through!

Soon we will be getting back to life as we know it.
Many of us have been working from home or not working at all for several weeks now.
Now, it is time to roll up our sleeves and get back to work.
Our economy has suffered a severe blow, but we can get it back on track.
There is one thing for sure; we cannot stay tucked away for 6 – 12 more months.
If we do that, our economy will collapse. If the American economy falls, the rest of the world’s economy will follow suit.
One thing we need to remember is to keep our guard up.
We can’t throw caution to the wind.
We must still remember to start slow. Small numbers of patrons in a restaurant to have a sit-down meal at one specific time. Smaller amounts of people to watch a baseball game instead of the full-blown stadium filled to the brim with fans.
We have to take it slow but get things moving. If we have to wear masks and gloves for a little while longer, so be it.
One thing that we cannot do is have a significant setback in new virus cases because we refused to listen.
I know it has been challenging to deal with all these new rules, but some of them made sense and were for our good.
Now, we have to let those who are still at risk stay home while the rest of us get to work.
America has been through difficult times before. This type of suffering is nothing new to us.

One thing that we have to demand going forward is that everyone get tested. We have to know how many America’s really have had this virus, how many are immune, and how many were hospitalized, etc.  We cannot go forward without knowing this.
One thing we cannot do is forget how we got here, to begin with.  We have to remWe can’t ignore all the voices which cried out to God for help, mercy, and grace.
We cannot forget all those individuals who pursued God because they were looking for answers to their fears.
We cannot turn our back against God once things get back up to speed.
We, as humans, tend to move on and forget what sustained us during our difficult times.
We cannot allow God to fall to the wayside. I know many of you reached out to Him with feelings of fear and being lost.
You reached out, and God was there. Do not turn your back on Him now.
We have paid a heavy price with this virus, and it could have been a lot worse.
We paid with the loss of precious lives, a significant economic downturn, new cases of addiction, new cases of depression, etc.
Whatever you do, do not forget God. We cannot allow His hand of protection to be taken off of us because we have turned our backs on Him once again.

Keep your pursuit of Him strong!  Keep your focus on Him. Remember when you cried out to Him and He answered. Remember how you found peace in all the things of Him.

Whatever you do, don’t forget Him!
I truly believe He shielded from the worse. He has been merciful to us, and I, for one, am grateful.

Thank You, God, for such a blessing as this!

Your words can build up or tear down.

word-have-powerWP3.23.19

Your spoken words contain the power to promote or the power to devalue.
Be very mindful about the words uttered by your tongue.
Do the words you speak cause agony, hurt, pain, and tears?
Even the words you speak to your family can raise them up OR pull them down.
God’s word warns us about tearing down others with our words.
Sometimes we speak harsh words to the ones we love that we would not utter to any other person.
Our words can build or tear down. Mere words can cause damage that lasts a lifetime.
Mere spoken words can send another person into a downward spiral that they never recover from.
Mere words can inflict pain, wounds, and suffering that lasts a lifetime.
Mere words can dramatically alter the projected achievements of another person.
Mere words can make someone feel unlovable for a lifetime causing them unrecoverable damage.
If you are speaking evil or using words to tear down others, how will you explain that to God?
There will be a day when we all will have to account for every word spoken.
No one will be exempt from this judgment(Matt12:36).
No man is promised tomorrow. Today, seek the forgiveness of a loving and almighty God.
Today, I am so thankful for His forgiveness. I am not exempt from this judgment, BUT I have sought His forgiveness and stand in His grace of being forgiven.

True love!

Last weekends royal wedding was solid proof that love DID conquer every obstacle that stood in its way.
God, knows our sincere desire to be truly loved. That is how He created us.
God created each one of us to be loved and to love one another.
In fact, there is NO GREATER love than the love God has for each one of us.
Even if we choose not to love Him, He WILL ALWAYS love us.
Even we can’t or don’t love ourselves, He WILL ALWAYS love us!
No matter if we choose not to include Him in our life, He WILL ALWAYS love us.
Even if we choose to hate Him, He WILL ALWAYS love us.
Even when we choose to think He does not exist, He WILL ALWAYS love us
No matter if we choose to think that He is a figment of the imagination, He WILL ALWAYS love us.
Know this, God’s love for each one of us is unconditional, unimaginable, overwhelming, unstoppable, incomprehensible, uncontainable, never-ending, never-failing, and ALWAYS there for us.

Valentine’s Day.
