Loneliness – are you feeling it as you shelter in place?

god-bless-americaWP9.28.19

Today, we celebrate our Armed Forces. We say, “thank you” to each of them for their bravery, service, and dedication.
Right now, as I am typing these very words, our rights are being threatened. We have been told to stay at home, not go to work, not go outside, to only see our loved ones for medical emergencies, and not to go to our places of worship.
What?? How can this be? We are Americans. We love our freedoms! We are blessed with freedom of speech, worship, to protect ourselves, etc.
These rights are given to every citizen of America.
No law, no decree, no executive order can take these from us.
Yet, we have power-hungry government officials that seem to think they have the power to take our rights away.
We voted these officials into office, and we can vote them out of the office too. We can seek retribution in the courts. In some states, we can even recall officials.
We have to do something. We cannot lay down and let these officials strip away our rights.
If we allow our rights to be taken now, how long will it be until they do it again or find a way to take away our rights permanently.
We are being controlled and silenced. What is the tool they are using to silence us?  Fear of course.
We are silenced from speaking up about our rights and these atrocious attacks on them.
Our worship is being silenced.
That is one thing we cannot allow to happen because God desires and deserves our worship.
When we worship, mountains move, bodies are healed, minds are restored, marriages are made whole again, addictions are broken, and miracles happen.
When we worship, God moves!
Our worship makes all of heaven move on our behalf.
We cannot allow our worship to be silenced!
Our answer to this pandemic is in our worship. The answer to a vaccine is in our worship, and our economy’s recovery is in our worship. America’s breakthrough is in our worship.  America’s next level is in our worship.
Every answer is in our worship.
Whatever happens, do not allow your voice to be silenced! Do not let your worship to be taken away from you.
Now more than ever, it is crucial that you contact your senator, representative, governor, major, your city council, and even the President.
All of us have to take some action now. Call, write, email, sign a petition, start a petition, or peacefully protest.
Let them know that our voices will not be silenced and that we will not sit by as our rights are stripped away.
America, stand up now. If we don’t, God help us!
Don’t give up now. I see God in the midst of all of this. He is at work. He has not and will not ever forget us.
He sees our suffering, and He hears our prayers.
Keep praying, pushing forward, and keep worshiping Him.
Pray without ceasing because that is what His word tells us to do.
Pray fervently. God’s His word says that a fervent prayer availeth much.
As we pursue God fervently, I see a mighty move of God coming because we pushed through and didn’t give up.
God will avenge America. God will restore America and all Her citizens.
I know it easy to become hopeless with so much negativity surrounding us.
That negativity seeks to pull you into its grasps.
Now, let your faith arise. Your faith is what destroys the hopelessness. God will repay your faith because He always honors those with faith.

I feel hopeless and alone. Have you heard yourself say that yet?

Hopelessness. Can you feel it? Have you, at times, been feeling it?
I have. It isn’t all day every day that I have felt it, but it is there. I have been fighting hard to combat it.
It is a terrible feeling. Seeing everything as worthless and not worth the effort because there is no point.
I know I am not the only one dealing with this heaviness.
I am weary. I am tired of all this silliness of Covid-19. I am tired of the fighting, the name-calling, the blaming, the suffering, the horrible stories, face coverings, the death, the riots, and all the hate.
I miss our old way of life.
Funny, but it feels like so very long ago that things were different.
I miss kids sporting events, picnics, going to the movies, going to small gatherings, going out to dinner with a large group of friends.
I miss hugs, kisses, and snuggling close to the ones you love.
We all want the old way back, but I don’t think we will ever be there again.
As I mentioned, I have been fighting hard against this feeling of hopelessness. I know God doesn’t want me to feel this way.
So, I pray. I worship, and I thank God for what He has done for my family and where He has brought us from.
I have to say that thankfulness is vital in fighting hopelessness.
It helps to bring the most important things back into focus.
What’s most important to me? Well, of course, God is, my family is, our protection, our safety, our stability, and our beautiful nation.
I hate to see it torn apart by those who don’t appreciate what a blessing it is to live in America.
There are those living in America who see it as a racist nation full of citizens who hate them.
If you hate living in a particular town or city, don’t you make plans to move? I know we did. We didn’t like where we were living anymore and decided to leave. Now, we are more content in the place we live in.
If you hate America, why not leave? Why stay in a place that you hate? I don’t get that. That doesn’t make sense to me.
Life is too short to stay in a place that you hate.
Please don’t tell me that you can’t move because of the shortage of money. There are ways to solve this, but it is going to take hard work. Some have the means to move, but they stay put. They would rather stay where they are and complain all of the time about how miserable they are.
If America is so terrible, then why are so many foreigners fighting to get here? Why do they sometimes risk their lives to do so?
America is a place where all who work hard can accomplish great things.
America offers excellent opportunities to all Her citizens.
Yes, some people may have a harder road to follow to accomplish those great things, but I know it can be done.
Making excuses and lying to yourself about why you can’t get ahead or can’t make a decent living or get an adequate education isn’t going to change things.
Excuses are lies we tell ourselves to appease our guilt, shame, or inadequacies.
It takes hard work and determination, focus, and above all, God to accomplish great things.
If doing this were easy, everyone would do it. But that is our problem, right? We all want it easy. We all want instant access to money, a lovely home, beautiful cars, etc. but we don’t want to put in the hard work it takes to gain those blessings.
I am sorry, but America is not a nation full of systemic racism. If it were, how did Barack Obama get voted into the office of the President, twice?
If America were systemically racist, we wouldn’t have any senators, representatives, mayors, governors, or attorney generals of color.
In a nation of systemic racism, this would not be the case. It would never happen. Those individuals would have never been voted into their positions.
America’s economy is on the verge of collapse. She is teetering on the edge of destruction. Do you know what kind of world this will become if the American economy collapses?

The effect of such a horrific event would be felt throughout the world. This event would cause other economies to collapse too.
Every living human would feel that devastation. America would plummet into sheer chaos.
There are those fighting to destroy Her and those who are struggling to preserve Her.
Why can’t we stop the fighting and start discussing how exactly we got here?
It seems we can’t even talk anymore. Only yelling and shouting happen anymore.
What happened to listen to each other? That skill has gone out of the window.
We can’t keep saying that the other side is wrong and we are right. If we don’t stop thinking that way, we will never fix our problems. We need to stop blaming, name-calling, and hate.
What kind of nation are we leaving generations to come after us?
Despite what you say or how you think, America was founded on the principle that all Her citizens will have the same justice and that each person is equal to every other citizen.
Yes, some wrote our Constitution that were slave owners. Yes, they made mistakes, but so have you. We all have! That is what it is like to be a human. We make mistakes, but those mistakes don’t define our future and our legacy.
Stop focusing on the past. We can’t do anything to change it. It doesn’t matter how many people we blame, how many people we hate, how many names we call, how many statues we rip down, it will not change the past.
We have to find an amicable solution. For the sake of our children, we have to figure this out.
Our nation cannot survive without God. This is a fact because we have tried it without Him and look where we have ended up.
I know there are many of you out there who are searching for answers. You are wondering, is God real. Well, He is real. Call out to Him before it is too late.
He is there now answering us, but there will come a date when He won’t answer anymore. When will that day come? I don’t know. Only God knows when that fateful day will arrive, but don’t risk it. Call out to Him now.
God is our one real answer.
Do you remember how God allowed the destruction of a whole city when He was tired of humankind’s sins? Do you remember when He destroyed the entire world with rain because He had enough with the wickedness of humanity? I pray that we haven’t reached that point yet.
Now, God will not flood the whole earth again because of His promise not to do so.
I feel in my heart that God isn’t done with humanity yet.
I genuinely see one more great move of God before He is ready to take His hands of protection off of us.
I know so many of you are searching for peace, happiness, safety, and answers.
God is the answer to all the questions you have.

Can we pray together?
God, forgive me for feeling so hopeless. God, I know You are not the one causing all this turmoil, chaos, and fighting.
Father, I know You only want the best for my loved ones and me.
God, restore my faith. Help me see the good still in this world. Help me to speak life into every waking moment that I am alive.
Thank You that You have provided us with a weapon to protect ourselves. It is called the bible.
Thank You, God, that Your word is alive and endures forever.
Thank you that You must abide by Your words of protection, peace, prosperity, hope, happiness, and love.
God, help me stay focused on You. God, when my heart feels heavy with sadness and hopelessness, please convict me.
Holy Spirit, remind me that with my mere words, I can break the spirit of hopelessness, helplessness, fear, depression, and hate off both myself and my family. Remind me that my words have power. My words can make impossible mountains move because God said so.
God, Your word tells us that You will protect us from the deadly pestilence.
God, remind me to read and pray Psalm 91 every day. Help me teach it to my family so they can too be safe.
God, remind me to pray and put on God’s full armor daily for both myself and my loved ones.
Father, remind me to pray to help rebuild the hedges of protection around my nation, my community, my city, my family, and myself.
Holy Spirit, please remind us to use thankful words to change the atmosphere of our emotions, our outlook, and our feelings.
God, restore my ability to listen to the ideas and thoughts of others. God, give me patience when I met with someone who’s outlook is different than mine.
God restore humanity’s decencies. Help us, Father, to no hate one another but to love and cherish each other once again.
Father, take our hearts of stone and cause them to become flesh again.
God, teach us to respect one another again.
God, remove the anger and frustration out of our hearts and minds.
Father, most of all, turn our hearts back to You. God, help our children!
God, help us to stop teaching our children how to hate others. Help us teach our children love and patience.
God, we ask all these things in the name of Jesus. Amen.

If you would like to receive Jesus as your personal Savior, here is your prayer:
God, forgive me for my sins. God, cleanse me of all unrighteousness.
God, I believe Jesus is Your Son. I believe He took my place on the cross. I accept Him as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.

I feel hopeless and alone. Have you heard yourself say that yet?

God, we will not allow this pandemic to destroy America.

VirusInRedLetter-4884862_1920

What if there were a terrible pandemic in the world, and it hit America in the worst way? What if there was hope in several medicines during this pandemic, but these medications were being downplayed or even talked about as being too harmful?
What if during this pandemic, all you heard on most of the significant newscasts, newspapers, or internet news sites were negative news purposely poised to instill fear at all times?
What if you were told to stay in your home during this pandemic, not go to work, and only travel to and from specific places for food or essential goods?
What if during this pandemic, only certain people were allowed to work and make a living while others were at home drawing money from the government?
What if, during this pandemic, you were told not to celebrate our nation’s birthday? What if you were told that if you did, you are a racist?
What if you were told that if you were caucasian during this pandemic, you were guilty of something silly like “white privilege”?
What if, during this pandemic, you were told that you are a racist? Racism in your family line was predetermined because you belong to Caucasian parents, great grandparents, and great-great-grandparents. Since they were white, they were automatically racist. And because you are white and related to them, this predetermines you as a racist too.
What if, during this pandemic, you were told that only the lives of black Americans mattered?
What if during this pandemic, there were riots, looting, buildings set on fire, and mobs of people in the street beating up ordinary American citizens who were only trying to defend themselves, their homes, or their businesses?
What if, during the pandemic, some cities started to dismantle their police force due to these mobs’ demands?
What if you saw statues of our American history being torn down by these mobs of angry individuals during this pandemic?
What if thousands of Americans lost their businesses or lost their jobs because these angry mobs of individuals set fire to those places of business?
What if, during this pandemic, there was news of another looming pandemic on the horizon?
What if, during this pandemic, people would not go to church. Those who attended services were told not to sing at church because they would help spread this virus?
What if during this pandemic, individuals were losing their Constitutional rights because majors, governors, city councils, or sitting congressmen and women would not protect the rights of certain Americans?
What if during a pandemic, you were told things then later down the line, those things changed?
What if you were told not to wear a mask several months later, you were mandated to wear a mask?
What if you were told to stay at home to “flatten the curve” of this pandemic? Then, several months later, you were told to stay at home until a vaccine was found?
What if after positive news came out about a possible vaccine, you were told not to count on the vaccine because it would have no to little impact on the virus?
What if certain government officials didn’t want to get our economy on track to seek vengeance on someone they hated? That vengeance they sought was based on hate so vile that it was on the verge of a sick, deep, and disturbing sickness that affected every part of their life?
What if, during this pandemic, the Constitutional rights of Americans were starting to be depleted?
What if you watched as police officers were told not to engage looters, rioters, and angry mobs during this pandemic?
What if those individuals who were arrested by the police, were then released back onto the streets? As they were released, they were cleared to pay no bail or fines?
What if you saw crime spike and spiral out of control because law enforcement officers were told not to protect innocent Americans?
What if you saw innocent people and children being murdered in the streets of our biggest cities because there was little to no police presence?
What if certain government officials were releasing prisoners back onto the streets where there was little to no police presence during this pandemic? The reasoning given to the American people was, of course, “racism.”
What if during this pandemic, certain groups of people were allowed to cause mayhem, wreak havoc, destroy, burn down, riot, and loot. At the same time, law-abiding citizens were arrested for defending their homes, families, and themselves?
What if our police force was defunded and dismantled. While this happened, we were told something silly like “reimagine” how the police could be utilized or revamped?
What if there were food shortages during this pandemic? What if the demand for food pantries increased exponentially?
What if, during this pandemic, there rose several organizations that were dishonest. They lied about who they are and what they stand for?
What if these organizations managed to fool lots of people about who they wanted to protect, what was important to them, their history, and their intentions?
What if hundreds of Americans and companies poured funds into these organizations, then those organizations, in turn, had those funds funneled into one particular political party?
Everything listed above is not hypothetical. All these events have occurred.
During the last five months, we have endured a lot. We are exhausted, angry, tired, and frustrated.
We have been lied to and mislead. We have been manipulated and used.
We have been used as leverage. We have been used as a vice against one particular person.
These events are a lot to endure. No wonder suicides, illicit drug use, violence, depression are surging. No wonder people are losing hope.
All of this is a plan to destroy America as we know it. To kill our economy and forever silence conservative America, most of which hold a strong belief in God.
If we are exhausted, we won’t fight back. If we are scared out of our minds, we will quickly give up all our God-given Constitutional rights.
If we feel hopeless, we will not pray, not go to church and not call out to God.
If we are afraid to speak up out of fear that we will be labeled a racist, we will not say a word.
If we fear to lose our jobs in this tough economy, we won’t speak up and complain to our Senators, governors, or our President.
Here are some things to remember in these difficult times were are facing. We are more durable than we want to admit. If we give up our rights now, we will never gain them back.
Fear, coercion, lies, manipulation, dishonesty, guilt, shame, hate, racism are NOT things from God.
They are tools used by those who want to control and manipulate us.
The hate these individuals feel is sick and twisted and not from God.
Those that seek to hurt, lie, kill, maim, and destroy other human beings are dealing with some wicked demons.
Somewhere, there is a mastermind of all these wicked plans to destroy America, Its citizens, our Constitutional rights, our futures, and our booming economy.
That person or those people must be exposed.
Again, we turn to the only one who can do that. That, of course, is God.
God is the one who can change a person’s heart. He is the only one who can make someone do something way out of their character.
God knows and sees all. God knows the plots of evil which have set out upon America.
Now is not the time to give up on our prayers. Now is not the time to throw in the towel.
Now is not the time to give up. Now is not the time to stop fighting.
Now is the time to fight harder, pray harder, pray more often, to worship God, even more. Now is the time to pray, fast, and give God to move, expose, and heal our land.
I keep hearing that our hedges of protection have been let down. Now is the time for all our prayer warriors to pray and rebuild those hedges and protection walls.

Let’s pray:
God, we worship You and thank You for Your mercy and grace that never ends. We thank you for your forgiveness that is endless.
We thank You for our home in America. We thank you for this beautiful land and all our freedoms. We thank You for all those who fought and died to defend and preserve our freedoms.
God, forgive us for our sins. Forgive America for Her sins, forgive our leaders, and forgive every citizen who has sinned against You.
God, America is in turmoil right now. God, calm all anger and frustrations in all of our hearts.
God, we call upon Your divine protection for our homes and our families.
God, we call upon Your provision to continue to sustain us during these difficult times.
God, we call on You to heal human hearts that feel then need to destroy things and hurt other people.
God, we ask for healing in our nation. Father, heal every place of racism and bigotry.
God, help us see the division we are causing with our words and actions.
God, restore our unity and faith in one another.
God, expose every ounce of hate and racism in our police forces.
God, expose every person who is purposely seeking to destroy America, Its citizens, our Constitutional rights, our futures, and our booming economy.
God, expose these organizations that have emerged for who and what they are.
God, open our eyes and ears to see and hear the truth according to Your word.
God, expose every plot and ploy to destroy our current President. God, expose all lies and wickedness.
God, what every plot, plans, ploys are in place let them ensnare those who plotted and planned.
Let every fiery dart meant to cause death and destruction return to its sender.
God, expose the pure hate and disdain these individuals have towards our current administration and towards America and Her citizens.
God, let us pray to build up our hedges of protection.
God, let us seek You never like before. Place inside of us new hope and passions to see America strong once again.
God, we thank You and pray in agreement. We pray in the name above all other names, Jesus is that name.
Amen.

For those of you who want to ask Jesus to be your personal Savior, here is your prayer:

God, forgive me for my sins. God, cleanse me of all unrighteousness.
God, I believe Jesus is Your Son. I believe He took my place on the cross. I accept Him as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.

God, where did America take a wrong turn?

no-hate-2019922_1920

God hears our prayers. God hears our cries. Right now, God knows our hearts are breaking. I believe His heart is breaking too as He watches us tear everything apart.
We are heartbroken for all the people who have died, lost their businesses, and now, are losing their faith. We have watched as our historic buildings and statues have been vandalized.
We are heartbroken at all the hate swirling around America right now.
Night after night, we watch as people devolve into the most terrible versions of themselves.
We watch as innocent Americas are beaten in the streets sometimes within an inch of their lives. What is their “crime”? They were only trying to protect themselves, their property, or their businesses.
We keep hearing that black lives matter. Yes, of course, black lives are important, but what about other lives?
When did our legal process approve for crowds of people to become judge, jury, and executioners?
When was it deemed okay to murder innocent people in the streets because we perceived they have hatred for us?
Don’t all lives matter? Aren’t all lives extraordinary?
Does God sit in heaven and say that this person’s life is more important than this other person’s?
Does He say that He will only hear a black person’s prayers because they are more important than any other white person?
No, He does not. He never will.
We are all God’s children made in His image.
His word tells us to love each other as Jesus loves us.
Will all these killings, destruction, stealing, and looting resolve the hate in our hearts? No, it will not.
Nothing we do will bring back the lives that have been lost.
Killing is wrong! God’s word tells us that.
I keep hearing that that police forling unarmed minorities is the genocide of the black race, but how can that be?
Is this true? According to statistics, there were approximately ten shootings last year that involved unarmed black individuals and the police.
Also, let me make this VERY clear. I am in no way justifying what happened to Mr. Floyd. Those officers deserve the punishment that our legal system deems appropriate. Their judgment will come from 12 of their peers and a judge.
No life should be lost to hate. Every life is remarkable and planned for by God Himself.
Now, do we truly know all the facts behind all the killings of innocent unarmed black individuals? Could it be that we are just going off of what we heard on the news?
Have we been used as pawns to do the bidding of certain people in America that want to see Her destroyed?
Some other things are bothering me too.
If black lives matter above all other lives, and we are watching genocide of the black race, why isn’t there more protesting at all the abortion clinics strategically placed in our black and brown communities?
How many innocent black and brown babies are murdered in America at these abortion clinics? Every murdered baby is a life that will never exist. Some might see this as a way to control the minority population.
To me, this is the genocide of black and brown people.
These clinics were open for business during the recent lock downs and were deemed essential businesses by some politicians.
Why aren’t we outraged by EVERY brown and black lives lost? Why are only some black lives being focused on?
Why isn’t hate in general being focused on? There are many types of hate in this world. There isn’t just hate against black people.
What about the hate that blacks have towards whites?
What about the hate that Hispanic people have towards blacks or whites?
Why aren’t we focusing on hate altogether?
Why aren’t we focusing on the hate taught to our children?
That is where hate starts. Hate is taught because no one is born with hate in their heart.
Why do we feel the need to teach hate?
What motivates that?
These are all fair questions.
We have failed at discussing the hate bubbling up from underneath us.
We have had years to discuss it, and yet we didn’t.
We let it fester. We swept it under the rug, and now we are paying the price.
I see these as all fair questions. When will we ever sit down to discuss them? Can we ever go back to have a civil discussion?
Can we even discuss things anymore without yelling and screaming at each other?
When did we lose our civility and our respect for other people?
If we focus on only one type of hate, can we ever get a handle on hate altogether?
Things will not change unless we change the hearts of humankind. Civil unrest will continue until we figure out that there is only one answer to all the hate in the world.
That answer is God! Only God can truly change a person’s heart and touch someone to restore their lives fully.
God and our Savior, Jesus are the answers.
How do we get God involved? It is simple: we pray, fast, and plant seeds for healing and restoration of America.
We must turn it over to God.
We cannot lose faith in God! No matter what we are facing and no matter how impossible it seems, God will turn it around.
Our God is a miracle-working God. Our God works in the realm of the impossible!
Time to let Him heal our wounds. Pray fervently and without ceasing. Fast a meal or a day’s meals towards this hate and civil unrest. Fast so that all anger, hatred, frustrations, fear, and anxieties will be broken off of America and off the American people.

Let’s pray:
God, forgive us. We have sinned against You, and we have taken justice into our own hands. We have broken man’s laws that You told us to obey.
God, we have murdered because we perceived someone hated us.
God, we have destroyed because we saw others doing it. We allowed anger, frustration, and a mob mentality to cloud our judgment.
God, we laughed at the suffering of others.
God, forgive us. We repent.
God, forgive us for the injustices of humanity.
God, forgive us for letting hate, anger, and frustration control and overtake us.
God, forgive us for blaming others for the shortcomings in our own lives.
God, help us.
God, hear our cries, and don’t turn away from us.
God, we are desperate for You.
God, we restore peace and civility to our nation. God let us respect each other once again.
God, place kindness, forgiveness, and love in our hearts for one another once again.
God, turn our hearts that have become cold and stone into hearts of flesh.
God, unroot all hate, frustrations, bitterness, anger, and blame from our hearts.
Father, let love grow there instead.
Father God, heal every broken heart and dissolve all fears and anxieties.
God, help our nation recover for the destruction we have caused. God, help every person and family recover what was lost. Let their new livelihoods and businesses flourish like never before. God, let this recovery be quick.
God, expose all those individuals behind this unrest. Expose all the lies told to us to make us pawns in their evil plans.
God, let them be held accountable for all the death and destruction they caused with their lies and evil plans.
God, if they did it for money or more power, expose that.
Once You expose these things, God, we will not seek revenge on them. We will let You avenge your people instead.
God, restore America quickly. God, bring back our jobs and livelihoods restore America back to Her glory.
In the name of Jesus, we pray in agreement. Amen.

If you want to accept Jesus as your Savior, here is your prayer:
God, forgive me for my sins. God, cleanse me of all unrighteousness.
God, I believe Jesus is Your Son. I believe He took my place on the cross. I accept Him as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.

Our American rights are under attack

god-bless-americaWP9.28.19

Now more than ever, it is crucial that you contact your Senator, Representative, Governor, major, and even the President.
I know it easy to become hopeless with so much negativity around us.
That negativity seeks to pull you into its grasps.
Now, let your faith arise. Your faith is what destroys the hopelessness. God will repay your faith because He always honors those with faith.

National Day of Prayer. God hears our prayers and will move on our behalf.

word-prayer-in-wooden-WP11.5.17

God, today we come before you as a nation. God, our hearts are being overrun with fears and anxieties.
God, we feel like everything we knew and found comfort in is now gone forever.
God, we feel as though our lives are changing daily.
Father, there are so many voices speaking around us as they tell us how fearful we should be and how terrible of a predicament we are in.
God, now, we command all the voices to stop berating us with fear.
God, we command all fear, hopelessness, and anxieties to desist.
God, we command the spirit of fear, anxieties, and worries to flee by the blood of Jesus.
Fear cannot withstand the mere mention of the name of Jesus.
There is power, freedom, and restoration in the name of Jesus.
God, let us run to You for You are our strong tower. We will find safety and security under Your wings.
Father, we ask for forgiveness. We humble our selves before You.
We ask that You forgive us for our sins that we have commented against You.
God, we ask for a full and swift restoration of our jobs, our families, our economy, and our nation.
Father, bind every mouth spreading lies and deceit.
God, expose those spreading hate, fear, lies, and deceit.
God, whatever plot there was to cause death and destruction with this virus, expose it and the people involved.
Your word tells us that You will expose man and all the things they do in secret.
God, Your word tells us to pray for those in authority (1Tim2:1-2). God, we pray for our President, our Vice President, and their administration.
God, we ask that You guide them in making the decisions that need to be made.
Let them seek You for every answer.

God, we pray for every nation that has been affected by this virus. We lift every family that has been devastated by the unexpected deaths of their loved ones.
God, heal their hearts, dissolve their sorrows, and fill them with Your peace that passes understanding.

God, we know this virus is no surprise to You for You know all things. God, we ask for You to give man the answer for a vaccine, antibodies vaccine, etc.
God, we ask that You eradicate this virus. We ask You to breathe Your breath of health and healing over us. Let the mighty wind of God blow from the North, South, East, and West so that it will disintegrate this deadly virus.
God, we have been humbled with this virus. We became overconfident in not needing You. God, we placed so many things and people ahead of You.
We placed You on the back shelf, and now we need You more than ever. Please forgive us.
Your word tells us to humble ourselves, pray, seek Your face, and You will heal our land (2Chron7:14).
Father, we are praying without ceasing. We seek true forgiveness, and we humble ourselves before You.
God, You are the one true God who can shift our restoration into high gear.
God, You are the only God who can destroy this virus.
God, we look to You. We know no one but You can do everything we need to be done. Father, restore this mighty nation and bring Her back to Her glory.
God, this nation belongs to You, was founded on You, and is being drawn back to You.
In the name above all other names, Jesus, we pray and come into agreement with each other, Amen.

Our road to recovery must start now.

Back on 3.28.20, I wrote a blog titled, “This is not the time to be defiant.” Please read it if you have time.

Here is the link to that post:  https://holygroundtoday.com/2020/03/29/this-is-not-the-time-to-be-defiant/
At that time, we were told that we had to shelter in place because the death toll from the coronavirus could be approximately 2.5 million Americans in a worst-case scenario.
With this information being told to us day in and day out, we braced for the worse. We battened down the hatches as we believed we were being told the most up-to-date information.
We knew we were in for an unprecedented scenario. We had not faced anything like this before. Each of us had seen and heard the reports from Italy and Spain. According to many in the news media, we were the next Italy.
We were going told that our hospitals were going to inundated with patients suffering from the virus. We were also told that this virus could crash our health care system.
We were told that if we loved our families, our neighbors, our communities, and our co-workers, we should stay at home unless we needed food, medicines, or to provide medical care of others.
Of course, we would go without seeing our older parents, our neighbors, our families, and our friends. We couldn’t stand the thought of knowing we could pass this horrific virus onto the ones we loved.
Of course, we would listen, as we were being pumped with fear. Of course, everyone was afraid. We were being inundated with fear and scenarios so horrific that we were all gripped with overwhelming fear.
We were told that this virus brought high fevers, severe body pains, and the inability to breathe. We were told over and over again that the people who caught this virus were dying alone. Dying all alone is one thing that most of us do not want to do. We want to be able to say goodbye and tell our loved ones how much they mean to us.
Well here were are six weeks later. Now, we find out that there are a lot of people that have already had this virus. Not only did they have this virus, but they also survived. A lot of these people had no, little, or only slight symptoms.
We listened to those medical specialists who were placed in charge of this pandemic. Now, as the dust settles, we know the truth that this virus wasn’t as deadly as once predicted. We know that approximately 90 % of people who get this virus will survive it.
Now am I saying that we should throw all caution to the wind and get back to life as it was before the virus? No, I am not saying that. That is madness. We have to be cautious. We have to reduce our crowd sizes no matter where we go. We have to use masks and gloves at lease for a while. We have to continue to sanitize things. We must demand that airlines, cruise ships, trains, taxis, uber rides, all public transportation, and restaurants keep their shared areas clean and sanitized.
I would like to know how often they cleaned and sanitized things before this pandemic happened?
We have given up a lot in the name of safety. We have given up our freedom to gather for religious services, we have given up our livelihoods, our businesses, our rights to travel freely, and our rights to protests.
Now, it is time to come out of our hiding places and get back to work. Our economy has taken a big hit. Some individuals and businesses will never recover from this pandemic. Some companies will have to close their doors forever. Some families or members will not come back from this. They might never recover financially, or be able to break an addiction that was the fruit of this virus. Once again, this will lead to further corrosion of America’s middle class.
We must remember that before this virus ravaged the world, America’s economy was the strongest and most robust in the world. If we don’t get back to work soon, our economy will never recover. If America’s economy fails, the world economy will follow suit.
I know a lot of you are still afraid, but we can no longer let fear dictate our lives and our futures. If we do not get our economy restarted, we will single-handedly destroy America. Then, the rest of the world will follow.

Do not misconstrue what I am saying here.  I am not advocating for wall street or big business.  This is about Main Street.  Our economy is made up of many small businesses.  In fact, small business owners make up the majority of all businesses in America.

This is about the every day people of America.  This is for the waiters, waitresses, the nurses, the electricians, the plumbers, the office managers, the admirative assistants, etc.  We cannot let them all down.  I am not ready to give up on America and all She holds for the future of our children and grandchildren.  They have the right to experience America like we knew it.
America, we were given incorrect information and facts, to begin with. We must find out the truth, and we must demand an investigation. America and the world must be compensated for the destruction this virus caused. It brought death, suffering, new addictions, and confusion upon us.
America knows what it is like to fight from the ground up and rebuild our nation. We have done it before, and we will do it again. One thing to know is that without God, this will be impossible.
God is our path back to a speedy recovery. He is the way to us gaining the truth. And He is the way that will restore America to Her greatness once again.

We cannot continue to allow fear to drive our response to this pandemic.

faithOverfearWP6.29.19

America, it is time to roll up our sleeves and get back to work.
A lot of us have been at home for weeks now.
For those of you who have worked from home to keep our economy churning, we salute you.
Those of you who worked every day through this lock down as your workplace was deemed “essential,” we say thank you.
Those of you who delivered our food, prepared our food, stocked our shelves, kept the streets safe, we say thanks, and God bless each of you.
Now, some had no means to work at home. For those of you, you are in our prayers! Daily, I am asking God to find ways to bless each of you.
Many of you are afraid to get back to work, but we cannot stay hidden away in our homes for the next several months.
Our economy will not survive that. As it is, our economy has taken an enormous hit. These days, our economy affects those of other countries. As we are not global citizens, we are a part of an economy that affects all other nations.
Though we may not affect the ability of someone halfway across the world to gain employment, we may affect their ability to gain access to food assistance and housing assistance via the donations we make.
We can make donations to charities and ministries via the money we make via our jobs etc.
And we may never know it, but perhaps our booming economy can help a person across the globe start a new business or hire more employees. We don’t fully understand the effects of our thriving economy.
One thing is for sure; our government cannot continue to keep print money to support every citizen and small business.
It is time to face our fears and step out boldly into our tomorrows.
Now some individuals desired to stay at home as full-time parents.
Now with the unemployment benefits in their pockets, they can do that.
That is fine too. Once several years ago, I was allowed to be a full-time parent.
I am so thankful to God for that! He made that happen. It was the best thing that happened for my family.
I fully understand wanting to be a full-time parent. It is a blessing that I will never forget.
Now for the rest of us, we have to get this nation back on track.
America cannot and will not fail! God will see to that, but we must do our part.
We cannot sit back and expect God to do everything! We have to step out in faith to meet God in every situation we are facing.
We cannot allow fear to dictate our future. If we do, there will be disastrous consequences.
We have to trust God and His words that speak of protection and more abundant life.
We have to keep our prayers up and put the hedge of protection back up around our nation, our families, and our world.
Now I am not saying to go out without taking any precautions. That is silly.
We have to be careful and start slowly. We cannot go out full force. If necessary, we may have to wear masks, gloves, etc. for s short while. We have to start with a small workforce and gradually work, adding more and more workers.
We will have to start with smaller amounts of people at a baseball game, smaller crowds at a store, perhaps alternating who attends church services from one week to another, etc.
It is going to be an adjustment, but we can do it.
I don’t know the specifics of the plan that America will use to get things going. I am just throwing out some suggestions.
We have to remember to keep up social distancing, washing of hands often, and all the recommendations coming from the CDC to help stop the spread.
And we must insist that the search for the vaccine continues.
Most of all, we have to keep our prayers up. We cannot allow them to falter.
Regardless of who mocks us, laughs at us, etc. we have to keep praying. God is the one who can eliminate this virus in an instant. God changed the projected course America was heading in.
For all we know, God has already intervened.
We prayed for fewer deaths from this virus, that happened. We prayed for less spreading of this virus, that happened. We also prayed for a vaccine, and there are many companies close to developing that vaccine.
I see those events as answered prayers.
We have also been praying and continue to pray for a speedy economic recovery. If we continue to pray and seek God, I believe that will happen too. Doesn’t His word tell us that if we seek Him, pray, turn from our wickedness, He will heal our land?
I see God’s hand at work here, and I give Him all the praise for it.
Whether it is done in secret or out in the open, let’s keep seeking God.
No other man has or will provide the answer on how to eradicate this deadly virus.
Only God will do that. Only God will give a human the idea of how to create a cure.
All knowledge comes from Him, so let’s pursue Him more than ever.

Don’t forget what God brought us through!

praying-2179326_4.19.20

Soon we will be getting back to life as we know it.
Many of us have been working from home or not working at all for several weeks now.
Now, it is time to roll up our sleeves and get back to work.
Our economy has suffered a severe blow, but we can get it back on track.
There is one thing for sure; we cannot stay tucked away for 6 – 12 more months.
If we do that, our economy will collapse. If the American economy falls, the rest of the world’s economy will follow suit.
One thing we need to remember is to keep our guard up.
We can’t throw caution to the wind.
We must still remember to start slow. Small numbers of patrons in a restaurant to have a sit-down meal at one specific time. Smaller amounts of people to watch a baseball game instead of the full-blown stadium filled to the brim with fans.
We have to take it slow but get things moving. If we have to wear masks and gloves for a little while longer, so be it.
One thing that we cannot do is have a significant setback in new virus cases because we refused to listen.
I know it has been challenging to deal with all these new rules, but some of them made sense and were for our good.
Now, we have to let those who are still at risk stay home while the rest of us get to work.
America has been through difficult times before. This type of suffering is nothing new to us.

One thing that we have to demand going forward is that everyone get tested. We have to know how many America’s really have had this virus, how many are immune, and how many were hospitalized, etc.  We cannot go forward without knowing this.
One thing we cannot do is forget how we got here, to begin with.  We have to remWe can’t ignore all the voices which cried out to God for help, mercy, and grace.
We cannot forget all those individuals who pursued God because they were looking for answers to their fears.
We cannot turn our back against God once things get back up to speed.
We, as humans, tend to move on and forget what sustained us during our difficult times.
We cannot allow God to fall to the wayside. I know many of you reached out to Him with feelings of fear and being lost.
You reached out, and God was there. Do not turn your back on Him now.
We have paid a heavy price with this virus, and it could have been a lot worse.
We paid with the loss of precious lives, a significant economic downturn, new cases of addiction, new cases of depression, etc.
Whatever you do, do not forget God. We cannot allow His hand of protection to be taken off of us because we have turned our backs on Him once again.

Keep your pursuit of Him strong!  Keep your focus on Him. Remember when you cried out to Him and He answered. Remember how you found peace in all the things of Him.

Whatever you do, don’t forget Him!
I truly believe He shielded from the worse. He has been merciful to us, and I, for one, am grateful.
