Finding God. Seek and you will find Him.

We carefully plan out our lives. We were making sure to write out our goals.
We write down details so specific that we can see it coming to pass in our mind’s eye.
We plan to finish college by a certain age, be a partner at our job by a certain age, get married by a certain age, buy a house with a white picket fence by a certain age, and then to have 2.5 children by a certain age.
We make plans for what our spouse will look like and what qualities and characteristics they will possess.
Never in a million years did we ever plan to be blindsided by a virus.
Never did we see this coming.
We had to plans in our carefully planned life to be sidetracked by a virus. None of us ever make plans for illness or disease, but somehow, it sneaks us all by itself and blindsides us too.
We always plan for good and exciting things in our lives but never plan for when the worse can happen.
Now, how dramatically has your life changed? Did you lose your job, work at home, confined to your home, not able to spend time with family, not able to socialize in person, not able to attend church services?
To think we are in charge of our own lives is a huge joke.
We have no control. We sooner you admit this, the more freedom you will feel.
Our lives are solely in the hands of our almighty creator.
Your current situation has not taken Him by surprise. He knew every turn you would take, every step you would take, and every decision you would make before you made them.
He knew you would either accept Him or deny Him, but His heart hopes that you will love Him.
Today, amid this calamity, confusion, and fear, He is waiting for you to reach out to Him.
He will calm your fears, help you to see that He is working things out even when we don’t see Him.
He will forgive all the years you denied His existence. All you have to do is ask with a sincere heart.
It is time to give up the control you think you possess of your life over to God.
It is time for Him to be the sole source of provision, protection, promotion, etc. over to Him. It is time to stop fighting and denying Him.
Seek Him now while He is still able to be found. One day, many will call out to Him. They will seek Him, and they will search for Him, but He will not answer nor be found.
These words are not said to bring fear to your heart. It is said in truth. God’s word says in Proverbs 1:28: 28Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; they will earnestly seek me but will not find me. 29For they hated knowledge and chose not to fear the LORD.…
Before this day comes, seek God out now. Do not let this day when God will not be found, or He will not answer you sneak up on you.
Just as no human knows the day that they will draw their last breath, also no man knows the day God will decide not to found.
There is no better day than today to search for God. Do not let pride, which is one of the deadly sins, keep you from Him. If allowed, our pride can rob us of our eternal life with God.
If there were ever an excellent time to seek God out, this is it! There is no better time than today to ask Him to take full control of your life. Let Him know you give it up to Him willingly.
There are always keys decisions we make in our lives that turn things around. Choosing God is an excellent decision that will change your life forever.

God, help me find happiness in my life!

happywoman-570883_1920

Are you happy? Are you delightfully happy? Do you ask yourself all the time, “What is wrong with me? Why aren’t I happy? When will I finally be happy? What has to happen for me to be truly happy?
Here is a small nugget. Happiness can start today with gratitude. Yes, gratitude. Something so simple but so beneficial.
Gratitude can change your attitude, change your outlook, change the way you see things. It can also change the way you treat other people.
Gratefulness causes a different mindset. It changes the atmosphere.
Gratefulness improves our mental, emotional, and physical well being.
Studies have found that gratefulness improves our happiness, our emotions, our health, our self-esteem, and our sleep. It also increases our empathy and produces fewer aches and pains.
Gratefulness reminds us of how far God has brought us.
Gratefulness brings HOPE to where God will take us next!
The voice of gratefulness used regularly will always help you to speak positive responses and see things in a positive light.
Gratefulness will always invite the blessings of God to overtake your life.
You might be saying that there isn’t much in your life to be grateful for.
There has to be at least one thing, no matter how small and insignificant others might think that one thing is.
Focus on that one thing. Be grateful for that one thing and watch as God starts to open your eyes to see other things to be thankful for.
Once you see the possibilities of additional items to be grateful for, God will start to bring opportunities for more blessings and more gratefulness.
Is being grateful all the time an easy thing to do? The answer is, “no!” If it were an easy thing to do, everyone would do it.
It takes practice, dedication, patience, and diligence.
Complaining all the time is a lot easier than being thankful.
When you compare the outcomes of complaining against the results of being thankful, thankfulness wins hands down.

Don’t forget what God brought us through!

praying-2179326_4.19.20

Soon we will be getting back to life as we know it.
Many of us have been working from home or not working at all for several weeks now.
Now, it is time to roll up our sleeves and get back to work.
Our economy has suffered a severe blow, but we can get it back on track.
There is one thing for sure; we cannot stay tucked away for 6 – 12 more months.
If we do that, our economy will collapse. If the American economy falls, the rest of the world’s economy will follow suit.
One thing we need to remember is to keep our guard up.
We can’t throw caution to the wind.
We must still remember to start slow. Small numbers of patrons in a restaurant to have a sit-down meal at one specific time. Smaller amounts of people to watch a baseball game instead of the full-blown stadium filled to the brim with fans.
We have to take it slow but get things moving. If we have to wear masks and gloves for a little while longer, so be it.
One thing that we cannot do is have a significant setback in new virus cases because we refused to listen.
I know it has been challenging to deal with all these new rules, but some of them made sense and were for our good.
Now, we have to let those who are still at risk stay home while the rest of us get to work.
America has been through difficult times before. This type of suffering is nothing new to us.

One thing that we have to demand going forward is that everyone get tested. We have to know how many America’s really have had this virus, how many are immune, and how many were hospitalized, etc.  We cannot go forward without knowing this.
One thing we cannot do is forget how we got here, to begin with.  We have to remWe can’t ignore all the voices which cried out to God for help, mercy, and grace.
We cannot forget all those individuals who pursued God because they were looking for answers to their fears.
We cannot turn our back against God once things get back up to speed.
We, as humans, tend to move on and forget what sustained us during our difficult times.
We cannot allow God to fall to the wayside. I know many of you reached out to Him with feelings of fear and being lost.
You reached out, and God was there. Do not turn your back on Him now.
We have paid a heavy price with this virus, and it could have been a lot worse.
We paid with the loss of precious lives, a significant economic downturn, new cases of addiction, new cases of depression, etc.
Whatever you do, do not forget God. We cannot allow His hand of protection to be taken off of us because we have turned our backs on Him once again.

Keep your pursuit of Him strong!  Keep your focus on Him. Remember when you cried out to Him and He answered. Remember how you found peace in all the things of Him.

Whatever you do, don’t forget Him!
I truly believe He shielded from the worse. He has been merciful to us, and I, for one, am grateful.

Seek and you will find….

“God, let this decade be my jumping point into ALL the new things of YOU.”

Do you know Him?

GetToKnowGodWP11.30.19

Do you know God? Do you have a personal relationship with Him?
It’s easy to get to know Him. All you have to do is ask. It is not complicated. We, as humans, complicate straightforward things.
God desires for each one of us to know Him
Some might think that it is impossible to get to know God, but it is not an impossibility to have a personal and close relationship with God.
Pursuing God so you can get to know Him on a personal level will not disappoint.
As you pursue Him, know that no human will ever fully know everything about God. He is too complex.
See our God is all-knowing, all-seeing, all-encompassing, all love, all kindness, and all-forgiving.
He has wisdom, intelligence, and knowledge that is beyond any one person’s full comprehension?
Although you won’t know Him fully, as you pursue Him, be ready for incredible, life-altering, life-changing, ground shaking glimpses into an all-powerful God.
I am not sure about you, but I want to be one of those people who see exclusive glimpses of Him.
I want to see and know as much as humanly possible. I know what God has to reveal to me will change me forever, and I am ready.

Yes, God! I will fulfill my God-given destiny!

Whatever you do, hang on to that prophecy!

bible-on-wood-tableWP7.20.19

We get so excited when we receive a prophetic word over our lives.
We wait and wait and wait for those prophecies to come to pass.
Then several months later, when that promise has not shown up, we often give up on it.
We give up too soon! We think God’s promises will show up the next day or the following week.
The truth is that God’s promises may not show up for years. Could you wait 12, 15, or 20 years for God’s prophecy to come to pass? Would you wait that long???
We have to remember that God’s timing is not the same as ours. He does not recognize time passing the same way we do. Years may pass for us, but for God, it may only be a year’s timeframe.
Between the time that promise is spoken and the time it shows up, we have work to do.
You MUST keep that word alive. We MUST speak life into that prophetic word. We have to remind God of that promise often and show Him that we have not given up on it.
Write that prophetic word down, word for word. Write down specific things like where you were, the date, the time, who was with you, how you felt, and the things you felt.
Then, read it often, and remind God of His promise spoken through His true prophet.
The word has to come from a true prophet of God! There should be clear evidence that this prophet or prophetess has a good track record of speaking God’s will via their prophecies.
Also, remind yourself, often, that God is faithful and that His promises have to come to pass.
There are a lot of false prophets in this world. Those false prophets come to fool/trick you.
You don’t have to wait for the prophet to come to town. Go and prophecy over yourself. You know God’s word. Use it!
Lay hands on yourself and prophecy that God came to give you a more abundant life. Prophecy that God has healed your body and mind, that you are set free, that you are blessed coming in and going out, that everywhere your feet touch that you shall possess it, that God is restoring your power, that you are a descendant of Abraham and as his descendant, you have access to all the promises God spoke over Abraham.
All of this is in your bible, AND much, much, much more! Read it yourself! Remind yourself of all of God’s promises.
He wants you blessed beyond anything you can contain. He blesses you for you to, in turn, bless others.
Believe, receive, and decree these promises today!

Believe the words He speaks about you!

blessed-by-godWP8.24.19

Has God told you who He created you to be and what He created you to do for His glory?
If He has, you must take His promises and always utter them aloud to yourself. You have to do this frequently.
Post them on your fridge, post them on your bathroom mirror, post them on a promise board, post them where you will see them, read them, and be reminded of those words often.
You must consistently remind yourself of God’s truth. If you don’t tell yourself the truth, no one else is going to tell it to you.
Listen to the truth God has spoken about you. Do not doubt it, question it, and never let anyone change your mind about who God says you are.
God’s words about who you are will always uplift you. His words will never confuse you, misdirect you, undermine you, or speak ill of you.
God’s words will always uplift you, direct you, inspire you, assure you, and show His love for you.

God’s word stands forever. Amen!

dear-future-im-readyWP3.16.19

God hasn’t forgotten what He promised you! God cannot lie, and He is always faithful!
He will bring it to pass. Somehow, someway, God will do it! He always keeps his promises.
Though it seems impossible, it seems so far away, and it appears as though it will never happen, God will do it!
So what every confirmed promise you have, hold onto it. Never give up on it. Never let it go. Never let anyone talk you out of what God promised.
God will bring to pass what He promised. He has to! If He doesn’t, that means that God is breaking His word.
God’s word CANNOT be changed or altered in any way. His word cannot be broken or unfulfilled. His word is His word period. It is never changing, never-ending, and all abiding, in the name of Jesus!
God himself cannot change His word. Heaven and earth shall pass, BUT HIS WORD will stand forever. Amen!
Speak with bold authority that God must bring that promise to pass. Utter it aloud with confidence. Let God, yourself, and the enemy hear it often. But be prepared because when you speak with boldness and authority of God’s promises and words, all hell will break loose.
The enemy will fight to stop you. Our enemy will do everything to stop you from stepping into your divine destiny.
As much as God wants you to achieve your destiny, our enemy wants, even more, to stop you from fulfilling that destiny.
The enemy wants to make God be a liar. He wants to keep you poisoned with fear and doubt, and He wants to make you double think who you are and whose you are.
He wants you not to believe who God says you are and what God told you could have.
Do not believe his lies for he is the father of all lies.
Combat his lies with the TRUTH of God! That is why uttering God’s promises aloud and often, are imperative! Without theses, utterance’s of God’s promises, you are susceptible to the lies, doubts, and fears of the enemy!
