Good Friday’s message has more meaning than ever before!

CrossWithHeartGoodFriday

Do you personally know Jesus? Do you have a relationship with Him?
Right now, we are in the most uncertain times of our lives. None of us have ever experienced anything like this.
We are all in unfamiliar territory.
If there was ever a time to seek God, this is it.
What is keeping you from Him? Is it the idea that God is unrelatable to how you are feeling, what you are thinking, or what you are going through?
This thought is very untrue. God is genuinely relatable to each of us.
God had a plan to send His Son, Jesus, to re-create a bridge from humankind to Himself.
Like us, God plans.
God loves like us, except His love is indescribable, limitless, unfathomable, unstoppable, unyielding, and all-encompassing.
God loved each of us so much that He gave His only son, Jesus, to come and take your place on the cross.
He gave Jesus to defeat death and the grave for each of us.
God sent Jesus to live His life as a human. God wanted first-hand knowledge of our struggles, our pain, our lives, and our experiences as humans.
The knowledge Jesus gained an as human was also shared with God.
God knows and understands all that we face.
What other God gave His only Son so that He could have a better understanding of you and your life?
Jesus has experienced everything you are facing now as He lived as a human man.
Jesus Himself faced fear. While He had the knowledge He was going to be crucified and tortured, He feared.
Jesus asked God to let this path pass some other way. He sought another way out, but there was no other way.
No other human, saint, or false god could have taken the place of Jesus on that cross.
If someone other than Jesus would have tried to take His place, it would not have carried the same effect.
No one but Jesus could have died for us! He was the lamb who was sacrificed for each one of us. He was the sacrifice to save the whole world and to cleanse all our sins.
Today, as you may be facing fear, panic, uncertainty, and doubts about how tomorrow will play out, know that you can trust in God.
He is always faithful!
Today, as we are celebrating Good Friday, take this time to seek God out.
On Sunday, we celebrate the resurrection of our one true living God, Jesus.
You may be watching at home in secret as Easter Sunday services play out.
You may be ashamed to admit that you need God, but don’t let shame hold you back from the one most important step you can make in your lifetime.
You may be embarrassed because your friends will mock you for admitting you need God.
Don’t let anyone or anything steal your free gift of salvation and everlasting life.
Today, you may be a closeted Christian, accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior in the secret of your own home. This closeted pursuit of God is fine for now, but know that there will be a point in time when God expects you to proclaim Jesus as your Lord and Savior boldly.

Merry Christmas. Our Savior is born!

God, we lift up our brothers/sisters that are in pain/suffering. God, they were the targets of hate because of their faith in Jesus. God, hold them in Your hands. Holy Spirit, comfort them as only You can. God, Your Word says that You give us the oil of joy for the spirit of mourning(Isa61:3) & the garment of praise for the one of mourning(Isa61:3) & the garment of praise for the one of heaviness. God, we cover our brothers/sisters with that oil of joy & the garment of praise. We break every spirit that will try to hold them back in fear, pain, suffering & even death.  In Jesus' name we pray, Amen. https://twitter.com/Franklin_Graham/status/851087720654962688 #GOD #BELIEVE #TrustHim #worship #Savoir #breakthrough #Scripture #prayers #Jesus #love #blessing #restoration #healing #protection #armour

God continue to turn hearts of stone into hearts of flesh(Eze36:26) It's Your decree that we pray for all of our leaders (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Father, let them seek You first for every decision they need to make. Let them seek & ask for Your wisdom, knowledge, discernment & guidance. Also, let us all come into agreement through our prayers (Matt18:19) asking You to continue to heal & restore this mighty nation. God, this country needs You.  You are the ONLY answer for all of the problems we are facing. God, break every spirit of anger, frustration, hatred & division. God, let us fill all of heaven with our prayers asking You for unity, forgiveness, love, abundance, peace, salvation for all of America's people. Above all, we need to ask You for Your divine protection for this great nation. In Jesus name, we ask these things, Amen! #GOD #BELIEVE #TrustHim #worship #Savoir #breakthrough #Scripture #prayers #Jesus #love #blessing #restoration #healing

God, thank You that I am the daughter of the Most-High God! God, thank You that I am an heir to the kingdom of heaven and a joint-heir with Jesus! God, thank You for reminding me today of WHO I AM!!! God, I love You more than I can explain with these mere words. God, You have brought me from a mighty long way! God, as I sit here and write these words to You, my soul is being renewed & rejuvenated. Your word says that you give me courage & strength (Deut31:6). God, I need those today!  The things of this world are trying to weight my spirit down.  God, as my words of worship and praise leaves my lips, I feel You drawing me closer to You.  God, let me always stay in Your presence! There is nothing or no other place like it.  In Your presence, I am made whole again.  I find Your glorious peace & Your abundant love there. God, thank You for loving me the way that You do.  I don’t always deserve Your unfailing love. I have come short of Your expectations on many occasions.  I have walked away from You on many occasions.  I had even blamed You when things went wrong in my life.  I have been disobedient. There were so many times You told me not to do something, but I did it anyway. Then, like always, after disobeying, I cried out for You to rescue me.  You always answered my cries for help.  Your word says that You will rescue us in our times of trouble(Psalms 50:15). God, thank You that my Savior, Jesus, qualified me to receive everything You have in store for me.  His blood will NEVER lose its power!  He is my living Redeemer! #God #SCRIPTURE #love #believe #blessings #worship #Savior #redeemed #redeaemer #Jesus #TrustHim

I believe.

ibelievetshirt_2

Today Pastor James Jacobs http://wordoflifecfc.com/ spoke on the message of “I believe”.  He preached on expecting B.I.G (believe in God) things from God. He also preached about how our incorrect thinking can retard both our own thoughts and our faith.  Also, he spoke of how our thoughts can stop us from reaching our goals.  Explaining how the enemy comes in to steal or discourage us by using our minds and thoughts against us.  When we believe the enemies lies, we are willing to give up or even walk away from our God-given dreams and promises. Remember what God say in Mark 11:24:  Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Pastor Jacobs preached about having faith.  That each of us has enough faith to face the trials we are currently facing.  We need to stop comparing our faith against another believer’s faith.  We have to remember that our faith can change our resume. Faith qualifies us for incredible things in the supernatural where in the natural we may be unqualified. In God’s word, it speaks about faith this way: Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Also, when our current faith level carries us through the trials we are currently facing, we reach a new level of faith.  Our faith is increased.  See when we come out of our trials victorious, we become living testimonies to God’s tremendous greatness.  In essence, speaking & hearing our own words spoken through our testimonies, increase our own faith. It also increases our amazement of God, our level of love for God and our appreciation about our amazing God.

Pastor Jacobs also preached about God’s promises.  We have to remember that God’s promises have NO EXPIRATION date!!!  God’s promises never expire.  Hallelujah and AMEN. I pray the knowledge of that seeps into your spirit, heart and mind. I pray that this revelation will start to take root, flourish and bloom.  I pray the fire of the Holy Spirit I feel right now seeps through these words as you read them.  I pray that this knowledge catches fire in your spirit.  God let it be a fire that can never be extinguished.  Our God given promises never die!  Praise your Holy name God.

How many of us have put our dreams on the shelves or totally given up on our dreams?  Our job is to keep reminding God of the promises He gave us.  Pastor gave the example of the little boy that keeps reminding his mother of the things she had promised him. “But mamma you said….” is what the little boy says over, over, over and over again relentlessly.  We have to be relentless too.  Do any of you know how old Sarah was when she finally gave birth to the child that God had promised her?  She was 91 years old.  We have to hold on to our promises.  Don’t relinquish hold of the miraculous promises that are ahead of you. Those promises contain your divine purpose.

How amazing is our God that He thought of a plan (a divine purpose) for each and every one of us?  That is how much He loves and cares for you.  He made a plan for you BEFORE you were born.  You were planned for by the Master of all creation.  That is powerful stuff!  If we could just get that into our spirit and never let go of it, we could change the world.  You talk about keeping some Godly words in your mouth.  There it is!!! Let that sink in for a minute.  Let that INCREDIBLE thought marinate in your mind. God planned your future before you were born.  He laid out an amazing plan for you.  God’s word says in Jeremiah 1:5: Before I formed you in the womb I knew you [and approved of you as My chosen instrument], And before you were born I consecrated you [to Myself as My own]; I have appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Oh my goodness!!!  I receive that for myself by faith in Jesus’ name.  We are consecrated to be a prophet to all nations – world changers.  That is what our God says about us.  Wow! Please receive that for yourself too.

Pastor Jacobs also spoke about keeping a word in our mouth.  That word has to be God’s words in our mouth.  What an incredible statement!  God has been whispering these very words into my spirit for the last few months. To hear these very words confirmed through the man of God’s message was amazing.

See as we go through our trials we have to speak God’s words.  Oh my goodness!  This little statement warrants more posts all by itself.  I will be writing additional posts about this soon.  I truly feel in my spirit that God wants to expand on this subject.  God is ready for us to step into a new dimension of Him by using His words.  Please meditate about this statement and pray for revelation about this.  Revelation is the key!  Right now I pray in Jesus name that God gives you focus on speaking His words.  Remember that our words have power!  I pray that through your diligence to seek Him and His wisdom that God will give you divine insight on this subject.  In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

In closing, Pastor Jacobs gave us a list of things to know about God:

1) God wants us blessed & to succeed.  Joshua 1:8 says:  8This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

2) God wants you to be blessed and prosperous.  In Deuteronomy 28:2-6 God’s word says: All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you pay attention to the voice of the Lord your God. “You will be blessed in the city, and you will be blessed in the field.  “The [a]offspring of your [b]body and the produce of your ground and the offspring of your animals, the offspring of your herd and the young of your flock will be blessed.  “Your basket and your kneading bowl will be blessed.  “You will be blessed when you come in and you will be blessed when you go out.

3) God wants you live righteous.  Titus 2:12 says: 12 It teaches us to reject ungodliness and worldly (immoral) desires, and to live sensible, upright, and godly lives [lives with a purpose that reflect spiritual maturity] in this present age.

4) God want us to believe.  His word says in Mark 9.23: 23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

Thank you for your continued support.  I pray that God blesses each of you beyond anything you can contain.  God bless you all.
