I know life is crazy, unpredictable, and feels very unstable right now for all of us.

It seems like every passing day brings something else to deal with.
We cannot focus on those negative things that are surrounding us.
There has to be one thing you can find to be thankful for.
This morning, I was grateful that the sun was shining, the traffic during my commute was so very easy, and that I filled my car with gas for $20.
I cannot remember the last time I was able to fill up my gas tank with $20.
I was ecstatic about that $20.
I know you might think it is silly that be so happy about the $20, but isn’t it the little things that are going to carry us over this difficult time.
We have to find the good things in our lives right now to be thankful for.
If we don’t, the darkness, heaviness, depression, anger, and frustration will overtake us.
Here is the best part, once you find that one thing, then start thanking God for that one thing, you will find a second thing, then a third thing, and so on.
Soon you will have a list of things you are grateful for. With your list and your worship of gratefulness, your spirit will be lifted, the heaviness on HAS to leave, and your outlook will change.
With the worship of gratefulness, you will change the atmosphere. Once your atmosphere changes, then your outlook will see everything differently.
Once you see things differently, you will start to recognize more and more things to be thankful for.
You have to start somewhere. Even the smallest thing can be used. Right now, I know a lot of us only have small things to work with right now but remember, Jesus started in a little insignificant place and look where God took Him!
Use the small things that seem so insignificant and see what God does with them.

Speak generational blessings over your children!

words-have-power_WP2.8.20

What words did you speak over your children today? Did you tell them that they are wonderful, create, blessed, cherished, loved, kind, peaceful, grateful, graceful, and loved by a God who adores them?
Or did you tell them they are spoiled, horrible, rotten, trouble makers, instigators, bullies, ungrateful, and that no one cares what happens to them?
See, your words will frame your children’s tomorrows too. They will see themselves through the very words you speak over/to them.
They will hear many words throughout their lifetime. Always speak the words of who they are, who you want them to be, who God says they are, and of what they will accomplish over them from a very early age.
They can hear your voice as they grow, develop, and are protected in their mother’s womb. Let them hear these affirmations now. When they hear these positive words over and over in their lifetime, it is these words they will hang onto.
Having heard these positive Godly words spoken over them constantly and consistently from before birth will cement who they know they are when they are grown up.
If these Godly words are heard daily for 18 years straight, your children are likely to continue speaking these same Godly words over themselves and eventually over their own children.
Talk about pulling generational blessings into your family!
There are enough fears and doubts brought into our lives by the world, we as parents need to make sure our children know who they are before they face this world alone.

God, let us see all the blessings in our lives!

I AM who God says I am!

child-god-writtenWP5.25.19

What do your friends say about you? Who do they say you are?
What do your co-workers say about you?
What do your parents say about you? Who do they say you are?
What does the world say about you?
The things these people say about you may surprise you. These very people may say one thing to your face, then turn around and say something very different when you aren’t around.
The reality is, most of these people don’t have good things to say about us when we aren’t present.
The people who should say great things about us like our parents, often don’t.
Our parents could be the biggest culprits in calling us horrible things. Our entire family can fall into this same pattern of speaking, unflattering things about us.
That old saying “who needs enemies when you have family” is often very true. Our families may be the worst in the things they say about us.
Now, we could get bent out of shape, argue, call them names back, pick fights, seek revenge, or even plot harm against the people who say wicked things about us.
But the best remedy is to let it roll off your back. Don’t fall into the trap of anger and frustration or even revenge.
Now there is one who calls you by different names. That person is God.

The words God speaks about you should be listened to, taken to heart, cherished, regarded as the truth, and placed above all other names spoken over you.
Our God calls us by our real names. Not the names that we call ourselves, or the names our friends call us, not by the names our parents may call us, and not by the name that the world calls us.
Often we even call ourselves mean and hateful words. What words to you call yourself? We may say we are silly, stupid, idiotic, dumb, poor, uneducated, unlovable, trash, thief, liar, untrustworthy, good for nothing, a loser, or even a failure.
But God calls us blessed, cherished, adored, abundant, wise, protected, free, favored, knowledgeable, healed, and forever loved.
When the words you call your self-change to reflect what God calls you, the outlook of your self will change. You will have a Godly vision when you look at yourself.
None of the ugly things people used to call you will matter anymore. You will know and speak the truth.
Today, call yourself by the names God calls you. Pray that God will let you see yourself the way He sees you. Once you get even a tiny glimpse of this, you never be the same again.

What your mind hears, your mind will believe.

What kind of words do you speak over yourself?
Are those words full of power, positivity, motivation, and love?
Or are those words full of lies, doubt, negativity, fear, and failure?
Your words should declare that you are victorious, beautiful, wise, knowledgeable, productive, remarkable, and beloved by God?
Choose to speak life, speak your destiny into existence, and speak the words God speaks about you.
Your mind will believe the words you speak.
