Good Friday.

Can you imagine what Jesus felt this morning? I imagine He felt alone, abandoned, petrified, unsure, and wanted to back out of the events that would occur.
Remember, Jesus was human for a reason. He became a man to experience every emotion and feeling we as humans feel. God wanted firsthand knowledge of what it was to walk through a human life.
God also needed a man of flesh who was also God to walk through His life as the perfect unblemished, sinless God.
Jesus had to become the perfect sacrifice. A sacrifice for all humankind. A gift so perfect that no other person could or would have to walk His path again. Jesus was and will always be the perfect, sinless, Lamb of God. The blood shed at the cross is so powerful that NOTHING can defeat it. By the blood of Jesus, we are set free. By the strips He bore on His back, we are healed. Praise the holy Lamb of God!
No other person could have taken Jesus’ place. No other sacrifice could have the effect that Jesus’ sacrifice did.
God knows everything thing you face today. Nothing is too big for Him. He knows everything you feel because He experienced it via His Son Jesus.
Today is the perfect day to place God first in your life.
If you would like to accept Jesus as your personal Savior, pray this prayer with me. Perhaps you are backslidden. Today is also the perfect day to renew your walk with God. Pray with me:
God, I am a sinner. Forgive me for my sins. I believe Jesus died on the cross for me. I believe Jesus is your only begotten Son. I believe He died on the cross, and on the third day, He ascended to heaven and is forever seated at Your right hand. I accept Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior. God, come into my life and use me for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

Good Friday.

Today we celebrate our glorious Savior, Jesus. We celebrate the life He gave for every one of us.
He gave His life willingly for each one of us as He took our place on that retched cross.
He was sinless, yet He bore each one of our sins on that cross.
He defeated death, sickness, sin, and every burden at that cross. In doing so, we don’t have to carry the burdens our of sins.
He suffered through beatings, mockery, hate, thrones driven into His skull, and the agonizingly slow death of affixation.
I can never tell Him thank You enough! I am forever grateful.
He gave us freedom from the overwhelming price of our sins which is a price we can never pay. JESUS PAID IT ALL!
Today, if you do not know Jesus as your personal Savior, please repeat these words with me:
Jesus, I am a sinner, forgive me! Father, cleanse me with the precious blood of our Savior, Jesus. God, let me seek, know, and understand You like no one else does.
God throw each one of my sins in the sea of forgetfulness never to be remembered by You again.
I receive Jesus, as my personal Savior. Today, I am free from sin, death, and every burden.
God, bless me with a knowledge of who You are.
Thank You for loving me the way that you do, never giving up on me, and for pursuing me relentlessly.
In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

I AM who God says I am!

What do your friends say about you? Who do they say you are?
What do your co-workers say about you?
What do your parents say about you? Who do they say you are?
What does the world say about you?
The things these people say about you may surprise you. These very people may say one thing to your face, then turn around and say something very different when you aren’t around.
The reality is, most of these people don’t have good things to say about us when we aren’t present.
The people who should say great things about us like our parents, often don’t.
Our parents could be the biggest culprits in calling us horrible things. Our entire family can fall into this same pattern of speaking, unflattering things about us.
That old saying “who needs enemies when you have family” is often very true. Our families may be the worst in the things they say about us.
Now, we could get bent out of shape, argue, call them names back, pick fights, seek revenge, or even plot harm against the people who say wicked things about us.
But the best remedy is to let it roll off your back. Don’t fall into the trap of anger and frustration or even revenge.
Now there is one who calls you by different names. That person is God.

The words God speaks about you should be listened to, taken to heart, cherished, regarded as the truth, and placed above all other names spoken over you.
Our God calls us by our real names. Not the names that we call ourselves, or the names our friends call us, not by the names our parents may call us, and not by the name that the world calls us.
Often we even call ourselves mean and hateful words. What words to you call yourself? We may say we are silly, stupid, idiotic, dumb, poor, uneducated, unlovable, trash, thief, liar, untrustworthy, good for nothing, a loser, or even a failure.
But God calls us blessed, cherished, adored, abundant, wise, protected, free, favored, knowledgeable, healed, and forever loved.
When the words you call your self-change to reflect what God calls you, the outlook of your self will change. You will have a Godly vision when you look at yourself.
None of the ugly things people used to call you will matter anymore. You will know and speak the truth.
Today, call yourself by the names God calls you. Pray that God will let you see yourself the way He sees you. Once you get even a tiny glimpse of this, you never be the same again.

Whatever you do, hang on to that prophecy!

bible-on-wood-tableWP7.20.19

We get so excited when we receive a prophetic word over our lives.
We wait and wait and wait for those prophecies to come to pass.
Then several months later, when that promise has not shown up, we often give up on it.
We give up too soon! We think God’s promises will show up the next day or the following week.
The truth is that God’s promises may not show up for years. Could you wait 12, 15, or 20 years for God’s prophecy to come to pass? Would you wait that long???
We have to remember that God’s timing is not the same as ours. He does not recognize time passing the same way we do. Years may pass for us, but for God, it may only be a year’s timeframe.
Between the time that promise is spoken and the time it shows up, we have work to do.
You MUST keep that word alive. We MUST speak life into that prophetic word. We have to remind God of that promise often and show Him that we have not given up on it.
Write that prophetic word down, word for word. Write down specific things like where you were, the date, the time, who was with you, how you felt, and the things you felt.
Then, read it often, and remind God of His promise spoken through His true prophet.
The word has to come from a true prophet of God! There should be clear evidence that this prophet or prophetess has a good track record of speaking God’s will via their prophecies.
Also, remind yourself, often, that God is faithful and that His promises have to come to pass.
There are a lot of false prophets in this world. Those false prophets come to fool/trick you.
You don’t have to wait for the prophet to come to town. Go and prophecy over yourself. You know God’s word. Use it!
Lay hands on yourself and prophecy that God came to give you a more abundant life. Prophecy that God has healed your body and mind, that you are set free, that you are blessed coming in and going out, that everywhere your feet touch that you shall possess it, that God is restoring your power, that you are a descendant of Abraham and as his descendant, you have access to all the promises God spoke over Abraham.
All of this is in your bible, AND much, much, much more! Read it yourself! Remind yourself of all of God’s promises.
He wants you blessed beyond anything you can contain. He blesses you for you to, in turn, bless others.
Believe, receive, and decree these promises today!

Unleashed by God.

thankful-grateful-blessed-on-whiteWP5.7.19

Last week, I was blessed to attend Unleashed 2019 in person.  It was hosted by Pastor Paula White at her church. Attending that conference was exactly what I needed.
God did not disappoint.
He brought a now word in every session. He filled up my spiritual cup to overflowing.
I prayed for a refreshing impartation of God. I prayed to be restored, to be refilled with a new fire of God, to have a new focus, to have my determination reset, and to have a new appreciation about all things of God.
Before I left to attend this conference, I prayed relentlessly for new levels, new visions, new direction, AND NEW OIL!
Pastor Jentezen Franklin (@Jentezen) delivered a powerful word about appreciating exactly where you are now. He ministered about not putting off your happiness until some significant events happen in your life like getting married, having children, or graduating from college.
Prophet Gideon Danso (@gideondanso) is a true prophet of God. He astounded us as God revealed things that only God would know.
He delivered powerful words/directions from God Himself. People who were blessed to receive their now word will never be the same. They had a life-altering encounter with the God of all gods.
I was one of the truly blessed to receive a rhema word from God. God revealed incredible things about my children. He also delivered confirmation about my new upcoming children’s books. God floored me with what He divulged about the future of my family and myself.
Pastor Pushie Watson (@PushieWatson) gave a Rhema word about “New Oil.” She blew the walls down with this message from God. She sealed the conference with the “New Oil.” She helped deliver us into new levels, and new encounters with God through His “new oil.”
If you can get buy the CDs from this conference, do it. It was pure power.
Then Pastor Paula White (@Paula_White) gave us a small glimpse of her new book written under the direction of the Holy Spirit.
To see someone who went through so much pain and suffering rise up to such power through God is astounding!
You know that you know that you know that God has stood by her side every step of the way. To go through so much pain and still be standing is truly a testament of God and the fact that there IS something greater set ahead of each one of us.

What kind of words do you speak over yourself?
Are those words full of power, positivity, motivation, and love?
Or are those words full of lies, doubt, negativity, fear, and failure?
Your words should declare that you are victorious, beautiful, wise, knowledgeable, productive, remarkable, and beloved by God?
Choose to speak life, speak your destiny into existence, and speak the words God speaks about you.
Your mind will believe the words you speak.

HE IS RISEN!

Happy GREAT Friday!

Our pain has a purpose.
