America, this election is too important to sit this one out.

Right now, two candidates are running for the top job of this country—two men who want to be president of America.
They are running two entirely different platforms.
One wants to protect America, Her citizens, their American dreams, and their jobs. This man believes in American freedoms and strongly supports our troops who fight to keep all our freedoms in place.
This same man is running on the platform of protecting life. To him, life, too, is precious. He is pro-life. Perhaps the strongest pro-life candidate to run for the Office of the President. This man supports the oil and fracking industry that has allowed America to become non-dependent on foreign oil. In the past, America was susceptible to foreign countries supply of oil. Dependency on foreign oil has, in the past, lead to excessively high gas prices and shortages. America, we don’t want to be under the thumb of any foreign power for any reason.
This man also believes in small government interference in the lives of everyday American lives. He also believes and protects the religious freedoms of American citizens.
The other man will more than likely ship our jobs overseas as he has done in the past. This man does not believe in the American dream. He proposes a massive hike in taxes for the American middle class.
This man will sit back and allow those in his party and his administration to change America vastly. That change will turn us from a democracy into a socialist county.
Those in his party has promised free vacations, free college, free healthcare for all, Medicare for all, free daycare, etc.
Well, here is something you should know. NOTHING is free. Someone has to pay for it, and I believe that will be the middle class.
This man has also previously threatened to go against our rights as Americans and confiscate guns from law-abiding citizens.
His administration is also a threat to our freedom of speech.
This same man is under suspicion of corruption for past business deals with foreign countries. His son is under FBI investigation for money laundering, which would also somehow touch this man’s past business dealings.
This second man has also said that he would move America from oil and fracking.
That will lead to millions of good-paying jobs being taken from American families in several states.
This second candidate runs as a Democrat, but he has given access to his administration and will choose individuals with radical beliefs access to both himself and his administration.
His Vice President choice has been touted as the most liberal person in our Senate. That is some title to hold!
As I mentioned, these are vast differences between the two choices, but the one that troubles me as a Christian is the choice in life or death of an innocent baby.
As a Christian, this is a game-changer against candidate number two. Our God’s word tells us that to Him, every life is precious. He also tells us that every single one of us is planned for by Him.
How can we, as humans, destroy an innocent life that was planned for by Almighty God Himself?
How can we override God’s decision for a baby to live when He Himself has deemed that life necessary and planned for?
In doing so, aren’t we trying to “play God” by ending this particular life?
And we cannot forget about the price for our sins. Please make no mistake about it. There is always a price for the sins we commit as a person, as a family, community, and nation.
America, I believe we are praying a price that we cannot afford for all the innocent lives that have been murdered via abortions in America.
We must repent! We have sinned against God! Our sins have a price that is too much for us to repay.
This is where our Savior’s blood comes in, for Holy is the Lamb of God who was slain for each one of us.
Thank you, God, for Your mercy and grace.
America, we must repent, ask for God’s forgiveness for our sins as a nation, and ask Him to heal our land.
We are at a critical point in America. Prayer, seeking God, asking for His forgiveness is something that needs to be done now.
Pray about who you should vote for in the next coming days. This presidential election is a choice for the soul of America.

God, we sent out the invitation for hate, chaos, and destruction to take over.

Due to a unseen virus, most of the world has been on lock down for several months.
People are frustrated, angry, and confused.
We are bombarded with an onslaught of fear nonstop by a majority of the media.
Some people are desperate to go back to work, open their business, and make much-needed funds to pay their bills and feed their families.
Yet, we are being told to continue to stay home.
For the last week, we have seen the frustrations of being sheltered in place for months on end pour out onto our American streets and cities.
Along with all these frustrations, we have seen hate, bigotry, and destruction accompany it.
We have seen a man brutally killed by a police officer with a history of wrongdoing.
This officer was allowed to continue to work as a police officer by the very people we appointed and placed into office.
They did not protect us from this officer. They did not protect a man from dying in the streets in front of our eyes.
Everyone is pointing the finger of blame at everyone else. No one wants to take responsibility for this man’s death or the riots that followed, but the truth is we are all too blame.
We have allowed this. We have our children, our families, our schools, our laws to close the door on God.
We told Him we no longer needed Him. We told Him to get out with our lives with our laws.
We told Him He was no longer relevant to us and that we could handle our lives all by ourselves.
Boy, what a mistake we made! What a mess we have made!
We cannot live our lives separate from God!
What you are seeing is the frustrations of years and years of injustice spilling into our streets.
Our political leaders have overlooked many people. We allowed them to stay in control while they got more prosperous and more influential, and the American people fell deeper and deeper into poverty.
We allowed them to stay in the office while they dismantle our middle class.
We let them stay in office while one by one, they gave away our jobs.
We allowed them to stay in office while they continued to look them another way as injustices happened to their constituents.
We allowed them to stay in office while they made silly laws to help only themselves.
We allowed them to stay in control year after year.
We allowed them to stay in office year after year while allowing foreign governments to affect our laws and policies, which only benefited them.
We allowed them to make laws to murder innocent babies. We let them take our tax money and fund those murders.
They took our money, which says, “In God, we trust” to fund the murder of the most innocent of us.
Now, we have blood on our hands! We are just as guilty as they are if we said nothing and did nothing!
We have a voice, and we must use that voice. Whether it be with our votes, our calls, our emails, we must use our voice and speak up!
We allowed these individuals to stay in office, and now in some states, people cannot even go back to work.
Now, we are allowing them to trample on our God-given rights as Americans.
They told us we could not go to our houses of worship. We are instructed to stay home and not go to church.
We are told not to worship, not to pray, and not to seek God.
If anything, we need to pray more, We need to worship God more than ever.
Only God can stop all this chaos, confusion, and anger.
We must repent now! We must seek God’s face now.
We must seek Him harder than ever.
We cannot be turned away from Him. We must press in now.
Little do they know that God is omnipresent. He is everywhere at all times.
We cannot be kept from Him. He doesn’t live only in our places of worship, for He lives where we are! All He needs to show up is our worship.
Call out to Him today.
If you seek Him with a truly repentant heart, He will forgive you. Seek Him for all those who are hurting and for those who have murdered the innocent. Seek God for all of them. Stand in the gap for each of them.
Pray for the healing and restoration of our land.
Do this daily and fervently. Pursue God with a renewed passion. If you need a renewed passion, ask God for it.
I know you have been praying already. The evidence of anger, hate, and destruction is evidence of our increased prayer.
Don’t give up now even though it seems worse and hopeless. Do not give up your hope.
Hopelessness comes when our faith is lost.
Ask God for a renewed faith.
I believe we are on the verge of significant restoration and move of God.
We have to push through with our fervent prayer, faith, and our love of God.

The words you speak today will become your reality tomorrow.

Words are spoken by us every single day of our lives, but do we stop and think of what we are saying with those words?
Many of us speak words without thinking twice about the weight of those words.
We speak frivolous, mean, hateful, words, or say negative things about ourselves and our family without thinking twice.
When a friend comes up to us to tell us that they are feeling well, we then proceed to speak death and destruction over them.
Instead of speaking life and telling them we will pray for them, we say things like, “wow, I bet you have diabetes.”
With those small five words, you have just spoken disease and destruction over that person.
Now, will they automatically get diabetes? Of course, they won’t, but with your spoken words, you have managed to open a door of possibility for them to become diabetic.
See your spoken words over them of disease, opens a door in their mind. It causes their mind to consider this possibility. They may mull it over in their mind over and over again. Then, they might even agree with you in their thoughts. Eventually, that leads to them saying our loud with their own words this sentence, “I think I am diabetic.”
Boom! There it is! Power is given to disease for it to come to fruition in this person’s body.
Our words have power. We have to place a filter on our thoughts and words.
We have to think of the ramifications of each spoken words that come from our lips.
Another example of how powerful our words can be is when a frustrated mom tells her son, who has gotten involved with drugs, that he will become just like his dad.
She expands her verbal abuse by saying that her son’s dad died of a drug overdose and that her son will follow suit.
Boom! This mother just pronounced death over her son! With mere words, this mother planted the idea and thoughts in her son’s mind that he would die of an overdose just like his “no-good” father.
Well, the son thinks this has to be true because his mother said so. So that son decides that there is no reason to pursue rehab or to seek help with his addiction. According to his mother, his future is set with death.
These words stick in the mind of the son, and he thinks of it constantly. Then one day, he tells his friend that he will die soon of an overdose just like his dad.
There it is, words were spoken that will bring forth the death of this young man.
When he passes away, will the mom ever know it was her words that started this downward spiral of her son?
She may never realize that her words have power and that the words she chose to speak over her son are words that he could never recover from.
Situations like these go on steadily in each one of our lives. We are confronted with situations, and we have to choose what to say. We can no longer frivolously use words.
Words have power, and they can bring forth life or death. So think which words you should use before they come out of your mouth.
Most of us have heard the phrase “think before you speak.” This phrase is a perfect example of what we are discussing right now.
Think of the words you will speak. Do those words bring life or death, do they promote positive or negative emotions? Do they promote health, joy, happiness, and a positive mind frame? Or do those words cause hurt, pain, tears, confusion, fear, and a harmful or hurtful mind frame?
Sit back and examine the words you have spoken over the past week. What did those words promote? Examine your life and the life of your loved ones.
Is there disease, poverty, anger, frustration, divorce, drugs, addictions, and depression present? If there is, then it seems the words spoken by yourself and your family members are not promoting life.
To restore God’s will for our lives, we have to become like Him. Now that is not to say that we will be perfect like Him because we will never achieve this. God and our Savior, Jesus, are the only ones who will be perfect, but our goal is to try to become more and more like them every day.
Our words have to reflect God’s will and the things that He desires for us. He wants happiness, joy, abundance, provision, and a healthy and blessed life for each of us.
God is a God of order. Blessings cannot flood your life if you continuously speak hurtful and destructive words.
Now, most of us were not taught that we have to choose our words carefully. A lot of us were taught to speak our minds and not to keep things bundled up inside of us.
Yes, we must speak up for ourselves but do so with carefully chosen words. Think of what you are saying before the words escape your mouth. Once spoken, words cannot be taken back.
Will it be easy to change our thoughts and words? Can we do this by ourselves? The answer is no. We cannot do this by ourselves, and we have to seek God’s help via the holy spirit. We must pray, repent, and always ask for God’s help.
Will it change immediately? I am not sure. It might or it might not. The thing to remember is not to give up. Don’t get frustrated. If you make a mistake, seek forgiveness, and keep praying for God to help you.
One day, you will find yourself thinking about the consequences of each word before you speak it. It will become a simple task.
Most of all, your life will be transformed. That within itself is priceless and worth all the effort.

God, hear our prayers for Midland and Odessa.

Father, there is another shooting in Texas. God, hear our pleas and cries for Your help and mercy.
God, we lift each family who is affected by this horrific tragedy. Holy Spirit comforts each of them. Do not their hearts fill with anger and hate to seek retaliation in any way.
God, give each of them Your peace. A calming peace that only comes from You. Ease their pain. Disperse their confusion, anger, depression, and suffering! God, shower them with Your love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
God, why does this keep happening? Show us how to stop this. God, reveal to us what is driving this violence that causes death and destruction in the lives of innocent people.
Father, show us the root cause of this.
Father, make our leaders work together to agree on sensible laws that will work, etc. Stop them from blaming each other.
Stop them from hating each other and pointing the fingers of blame on each other.
God, we know that our actions produce reactions.

Father, let us seek You for the forgiveness of our sins and the sins of this nation.
God, we as a people and a nation continue to sin, and we think that sin does not have consequences, but they do.
Our sins open doors to consequences that are too much for us to pay.
People mock and laugh at us as we continue to pray for answers. They tell us our prayers are useless. They say that if prayers worked that these tragedies would not happen in the first place.
The truth is that all of our sins have painful consequences that are too much for us to bear. God’s word tells us that the wages of sin is death (Rom6:23), BUT we are blessed with a gift of Jesus, our Savior! Amen, amen, amen!
Our unforgiven sins will continue to bring mass suffering, despair, and destruction, but most people don’t want to hear that.
They can’t handle the truth and do not wish to know the truth. The truth is all the sins of the world have attributed to the current state of our nation and our world. The price of all these sins is too much for us to payback! We can never repay what is owed for each one of these sins!
God, thank for our Savior! Because of Jesus, the precious blood He shed on the cross, we do not have to repay those sins! He did this for every one of us. He shed His blood for us and took the place for each one of us. But, we do have to repent and seek true forgiveness!

What is the cost to repay for every baby America kills via abortions? I am not referring to abortions for one year or the total abortions in your lifetime. I am talking about ALL the abortions combined since they started happening. I can’t even imagine what that cost is. What is the price to repay for their baby parts to be sold to companies to research so they can profit from future prescription sales and profits? These acts are ghoulish!
What is the cost to repay when our government looks the other way as children are sold into slavery via human trafficking?

And don’t mistake what I am saying about our government. I am not talking about one particular person in the government like blaming this all on our current President or his administration. I am referring to the years and decades of our government doing nothing while these atrocities take place. I am also referring to our role in these atrocities. I am not saying that we had a direct hand in all abortions or trafficking, but we have an indirect hand in it.

We sit back in our comfortable homes and look the other way as these things take place. We need to say something! Write a letter, an email, etc.. to your congressperson, the mayor, the governor, or your local representative. Let your voice be heard. Even if nothing changes, at least you know you tried and God will also know.

God help us never to stop praying. You tell us to pray without ceasing(1Thes5:17). We cannot give up on or abandon our prayers! Do not let anyone silence our prayers.

Father, forgive us! Father, forgive our sins that we have committed against You. Father, forgive our nations for the sins they have committed against You. God, heal our lands. God, bring peace and love back to all of our hearts. God, send wisdom and knowledge to us. God, help us stop these acts of violence, expose the plots and plans of evil people, stop our children from being killed in our schools, and stop these acts of murder in our malls, shopping centers, etc. God, help us voice our displeasure that You have been banned from our schools. God help us express our anger of all these things! God, make us bold with loud voices to tell those in charge that we do not like our money being used to murder innocent babies, that we do not like the fact that prayer and God have been removed from our schools. Father, let us seek You and Your word diligently!
Father, do not let our hearts and souls grow cold towards You and towards each other.
Holy Spirit, convict those who mock us as we seek God relentlessly.
Father, we ask all these things in the name above all names, Jesus.
Amen.
