Was Joe Biden part of God’s plan?

I have spoken to so many who are heavy-hearten over the events of this past week.
Many are angry, frustrated, and some have given up on God’s promise.

There are also many people who are not happy with the radical agenda of this new administration.

We have seen other countries benefiting from the radical policy changes while actual Americans have lost their jobs, lost access to lower medical drug prices, and lost their ability to feel safe with the radical changes in America’s immigration policies.

These frustrated individuals only see darkness and hopelessness ahead with this new administration.

Many do not see a way out.
As for me, I am holding onto the belief that this isnt what God wants for His people.

I am holding onto hope that God isn’t done yet.
If you think God has abandoned us, you are sadly mistaken.
Don’t give up on God!
The situation may look impossible, but that is the realm that God operates in.
He makes the impossible possible.
Why does He do this? He wants all the glory, and He deserves it.
Man has done all he can. Man exhausted every possible road to resolve our current situation.
Now, it is God’s turn.
Don’t give up on the promise of God you were holding on to.
God cannot fail on His promises.
Stand firm now and worship Him for that delivered promise.
God does not work on our time. He will deliver His people on His time, not ours.
God does not operate on man’s time.
Do not give in to what you see in the natural. God works in the supernatural.
Know who God is. He is a miracle worker, a promise keeper, and a way maker!
Stay strong in prayer and God’s presence!
Don’t stop praying! Pray even more now. Never cease in prayer till your breakthrough comes.
Ask God to renew your faith! Ask for forgiveness for the disbelief in your heart. Ask Him to let you see with His vision and hear with Godly ears.
Be patient. Those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength.
Be still and know He is God Almighty.

Joy to the world, our Savior, Jesus, is born. Merry Christmas.

Who are we that the God of all creations knows our names?
Who are we that the God of all gods loves us so much?
Who are we to deserve this type of never-ending unconditional love?
We are not extraordinary, but our God makes and sees each of us as unique.
We do not deserve His love, but He gives it freely anyway.
We do not deserve His Son, Jesus, to save us.
We are sinners and are unworthy of His tremendous gift, but our God loves us anyway. So much so that He gave us the ultimate precious gift this season.
Though unworthy, He gave His son for each of us to no longer be slaves to our sins. Thank You, God, for your amazing grace!
Today, we celebrate the birth of the Savior of the world.
Jesus is God’s word to come to life.
Even though we have been marred with heaviness, sadness, separation, and feared this year, we cannot forget the real reason for this season.
Today, we should be full of joy and delight with the knowledge that we have been spared the fate of damnation through our Savior.
Jesus, our Savior, is born for each of us to have everlasting life.
Merry Christmas to each of you, and may the joy of this season carry you through into next year.

I feel hopeless and alone. Have you heard yourself say that yet?

hands-disinfection.mask_8.2.20

Hopelessness. Can you feel it? Have you, at times, been feeling it?
I have. It isn’t all day every day that I have felt it, but it is there. I have been fighting hard to combat it.
It is a terrible feeling. Seeing everything as worthless and not worth the effort because there is no point.
I know I am not the only one dealing with this heaviness.
I am weary. I am tired of all this silliness of Covid-19. I am tired of the fighting, the name-calling, the blaming, the suffering, the horrible stories, face coverings, the death, the riots, and all the hate.
I miss our old way of life.
Funny, but it feels like so very long ago that things were different.
I miss kids sporting events, picnics, going to the movies, going to small gatherings, going out to dinner with a large group of friends.
I miss hugs, kisses, and snuggling close to the ones you love.
We all want the old way back, but I don’t think we will ever be there again.
As I mentioned, I have been fighting hard against this feeling of hopelessness. I know God doesn’t want me to feel this way.
So, I pray. I worship, and I thank God for what He has done for my family and where He has brought us from.
I have to say that thankfulness is vital in fighting hopelessness.
It helps to bring the most important things back into focus.
What’s most important to me? Well, of course, God is, my family is, our protection, our safety, our stability, and our beautiful nation.
I hate to see it torn apart by those who don’t appreciate what a blessing it is to live in America.
There are those living in America who see it as a racist nation full of citizens who hate them.
If you hate living in a particular town or city, don’t you make plans to move? I know we did. We didn’t like where we were living anymore and decided to leave. Now, we are more content in the place we live in.
If you hate America, why not leave? Why stay in a place that you hate? I don’t get that. That doesn’t make sense to me.
Life is too short to stay in a place that you hate.
Please don’t tell me that you can’t move because of the shortage of money. There are ways to solve this, but it is going to take hard work. Some have the means to move, but they stay put. They would rather stay where they are and complain all of the time about how miserable they are.
If America is so terrible, then why are so many foreigners fighting to get here? Why do they sometimes risk their lives to do so?
America is a place where all who work hard can accomplish great things.
America offers excellent opportunities to all Her citizens.
Yes, some people may have a harder road to follow to accomplish those great things, but I know it can be done.
Making excuses and lying to yourself about why you can’t get ahead or can’t make a decent living or get an adequate education isn’t going to change things.
Excuses are lies we tell ourselves to appease our guilt, shame, or inadequacies.
It takes hard work and determination, focus, and above all, God to accomplish great things.
If doing this were easy, everyone would do it. But that is our problem, right? We all want it easy. We all want instant access to money, a lovely home, beautiful cars, etc. but we don’t want to put in the hard work it takes to gain those blessings.
I am sorry, but America is not a nation full of systemic racism. If it were, how did Barack Obama get voted into the office of the President, twice?
If America were systemically racist, we wouldn’t have any senators, representatives, mayors, governors, or attorney generals of color.
In a nation of systemic racism, this would not be the case. It would never happen. Those individuals would have never been voted into their positions.
America’s economy is on the verge of collapse. She is teetering on the edge of destruction. Do you know what kind of world this will become if the American economy collapses?

The effect of such a horrific event would be felt throughout the world. This event would cause other economies to collapse too.
Every living human would feel that devastation. America would plummet into sheer chaos.
There are those fighting to destroy Her and those who are struggling to preserve Her.
Why can’t we stop the fighting and start discussing how exactly we got here?
It seems we can’t even talk anymore. Only yelling and shouting happen anymore.
What happened to listen to each other? That skill has gone out of the window.
We can’t keep saying that the other side is wrong and we are right. If we don’t stop thinking that way, we will never fix our problems. We need to stop blaming, name-calling, and hate.
What kind of nation are we leaving generations to come after us?
Despite what you say or how you think, America was founded on the principle that all Her citizens will have the same justice and that each person is equal to every other citizen.
Yes, some wrote our Constitution that were slave owners. Yes, they made mistakes, but so have you. We all have! That is what it is like to be a human. We make mistakes, but those mistakes don’t define our future and our legacy.
Stop focusing on the past. We can’t do anything to change it. It doesn’t matter how many people we blame, how many people we hate, how many names we call, how many statues we rip down, it will not change the past.
We have to find an amicable solution. For the sake of our children, we have to figure this out.
Our nation cannot survive without God. This is a fact because we have tried it without Him and look where we have ended up.
I know there are many of you out there who are searching for answers. You are wondering, is God real. Well, He is real. Call out to Him before it is too late.
He is there now answering us, but there will come a date when He won’t answer anymore. When will that day come? I don’t know. Only God knows when that fateful day will arrive, but don’t risk it. Call out to Him now.
God is our one real answer.
Do you remember how God allowed the destruction of a whole city when He was tired of humankind’s sins? Do you remember when He destroyed the entire world with rain because He had enough with the wickedness of humanity? I pray that we haven’t reached that point yet.
Now, God will not flood the whole earth again because of His promise not to do so.
I feel in my heart that God isn’t done with humanity yet.
I genuinely see one more great move of God before He is ready to take His hands of protection off of us.
I know so many of you are searching for peace, happiness, safety, and answers.
God is the answer to all the questions you have.

Can we pray together?
God, forgive me for feeling so hopeless. God, I know You are not the one causing all this turmoil, chaos, and fighting.
Father, I know You only want the best for my loved ones and me.
God, restore my faith. Help me see the good still in this world. Help me to speak life into every waking moment that I am alive.
Thank You that You have provided us with a weapon to protect ourselves. It is called the bible.
Thank You, God, that Your word is alive and endures forever.
Thank you that You must abide by Your words of protection, peace, prosperity, hope, happiness, and love.
God, help me stay focused on You. God, when my heart feels heavy with sadness and hopelessness, please convict me.
Holy Spirit, remind me that with my mere words, I can break the spirit of hopelessness, helplessness, fear, depression, and hate off both myself and my family. Remind me that my words have power. My words can make impossible mountains move because God said so.
God, Your word tells us that You will protect us from the deadly pestilence.
God, remind me to read and pray Psalm 91 every day. Help me teach it to my family so they can too be safe.
God, remind me to pray and put on God’s full armor daily for both myself and my loved ones.
Father, remind me to pray to help rebuild the hedges of protection around my nation, my community, my city, my family, and myself.
Holy Spirit, please remind us to use thankful words to change the atmosphere of our emotions, our outlook, and our feelings.
God, restore my ability to listen to the ideas and thoughts of others. God, give me patience when I met with someone who’s outlook is different than mine.
God restore humanity’s decencies. Help us, Father, to no hate one another but to love and cherish each other once again.
Father, take our hearts of stone and cause them to become flesh again.
God, teach us to respect one another again.
God, remove the anger and frustration out of our hearts and minds.
Father, most of all, turn our hearts back to You. God, help our children!
God, help us to stop teaching our children how to hate others. Help us teach our children love and patience.
God, we ask all these things in the name of Jesus. Amen.

If you would like to receive Jesus as your personal Savior, here is your prayer:
God, forgive me for my sins. God, cleanse me of all unrighteousness.
God, I believe Jesus is Your Son. I believe He took my place on the cross. I accept Him as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.

Easter Sunday will provide us a renewed hope to defeat this pandemic.

tomb-jesus-christ-risen-easterWP4.21.19LG

“My God, why have You forsaken me?” (Matt27:46). Those were the words spoken by a human man suffering the agonizing and painful death of slowly suffocating to death.
I am sure at that very time, Jesus was wondering why He had to suffer in such a horrible way when He had done absolutely nothing wrong to deserve such a fate.
He was innocent. He was sinless and was the only perfect human.
Yet, he hung on the cross in agony for hours. He was mocked and laughed at.
He was given a liquid to consume, but not as a gesture to lessen His suffering. It was given to Him to increase the longevity of this suffering on His body.
He was beaten to the point of being unrecognizable. His skin and flesh ripped away by the whip embedded with items to rip and tear His flesh off His bones.
What parent in their right mind would want their child to suffer in this manner?
What parent would willing allow for their child to suffer such a horrific beating and death?
Yet, God did this for you! Yes, God allowed His only son, Jesus, to endure all these things so that you could have a pathway back to Him.
Let me repeat that! God loved you so much (more than you will ever understand) that He allowed His beloved and innocent son, Jesus, to suffer at the hands of man.
God’s love for us is indescribable, limitless, unfathomable, unstoppable, unyielding, and all-encompassing.
Who else do you know that would allow their son to die so that you could have freedom from the wages of sin?
What other God left His throne for you? What other God let His only Son be tortured, beaten, maimed, whipped, and hung from a cross as He slowly suffocated so that you could have life everlasting?
NO OTHER GOD did that or will do that for you.
This Easter, the story of God’s gift of His Son Jesus, who takes away the sins of the world, has more meaning than ever.
Easter will not be a traditional Easter Sunday with church services, picnics, family gatherings, and egg hunts.
Social distancing has created an Easter that we have never encountered before.
We cannot attend traditional church services or family gatherings.
Right now, a lot of us are fearful. We are worried about what tomorrow holds. We want so desperately for things to go back to the way that they were, but they can’t, and I am afraid things won’t ever go back.
Like us, Jesus was afraid. These were the fears of a human man. He wondered about the pain, suffering, and what lay ahead of Him.
He knew He would suffer immensely. He knew he would be betrayed. He knew He would be mocked and laughed at.
Isn’t that how we are feeling now? We are afraid of what the next few days and weeks hold. We are scared about our jobs, our finances, our families, and our children. Food shortages have proven challenging to feed our families at times.
Many of you might even be thinking that God brought this pandemic to us. You might be wondering why such a “loving” God would allow such suffering, anguish, and death.
The truth is that this is not God’s fault. The sooner we accept that, the faster we can step into restoration. See, God is a God of order. He has provided a way for us to live our lives so that we remain righteous, but the truth is we are only human, and some of us live under the delusion that we control our lives.
Our choices to live our own lives without God has allowed this pandemic to invade our lives. We are the ones to blame for this pandemic, NOT GOD.
Our choices have consequences, as all decisions do. Right now, we are living with our decision to remove God from our lives.
Taking God out of our lives has had severe consequences.
Removing God from our lives was a mistake. One of the tons of mistakes we make. That is where His grace & mercy comes in.
He freely gives us His grace and mercy to overcome our mistakes. He freely gives His unlimited forgiveness so that all our mistakes can be washed away.
Do we deserve this mercy, grace, and forgiveness? The answer is no. We, as humans, can be rude, hateful, mean, greedy, and uncaring. Thank God that He does not see us unworthy! Thank God for that mercy, grace, and unforgiveness.
This Easter, we have more than ever to be thankful for. This Easter, the message of the love of God and the sacrifice of His only Son, our Savior Jesus, means more than ever.
This Easter, I am praying for a newfound hope, a renewed love of God, and a refocusing and determination to defeat this pandemic.
Easter gives the message of redemption. I pray God declares that the death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus, will be the payment in full to stop this pandemic. Amen.

Good Friday’s message has more meaning than ever before!

CrossWithHeartGoodFriday

Do you personally know Jesus? Do you have a relationship with Him?
Right now, we are in the most uncertain times of our lives. None of us have ever experienced anything like this.
We are all in unfamiliar territory.
If there was ever a time to seek God, this is it.
What is keeping you from Him? Is it the idea that God is unrelatable to how you are feeling, what you are thinking, or what you are going through?
This thought is very untrue. God is genuinely relatable to each of us.
God had a plan to send His Son, Jesus, to re-create a bridge from humankind to Himself.
Like us, God plans.
God loves like us, except His love is indescribable, limitless, unfathomable, unstoppable, unyielding, and all-encompassing.
God loved each of us so much that He gave His only son, Jesus, to come and take your place on the cross.
He gave Jesus to defeat death and the grave for each of us.
God sent Jesus to live His life as a human. God wanted first-hand knowledge of our struggles, our pain, our lives, and our experiences as humans.
The knowledge Jesus gained an as human was also shared with God.
God knows and understands all that we face.
What other God gave His only Son so that He could have a better understanding of you and your life?
Jesus has experienced everything you are facing now as He lived as a human man.
Jesus Himself faced fear. While He had the knowledge He was going to be crucified and tortured, He feared.
Jesus asked God to let this path pass some other way. He sought another way out, but there was no other way.
No other human, saint, or false god could have taken the place of Jesus on that cross.
If someone other than Jesus would have tried to take His place, it would not have carried the same effect.
No one but Jesus could have died for us! He was the lamb who was sacrificed for each one of us. He was the sacrifice to save the whole world and to cleanse all our sins.
Today, as you may be facing fear, panic, uncertainty, and doubts about how tomorrow will play out, know that you can trust in God.
He is always faithful!
Today, as we are celebrating Good Friday, take this time to seek God out.
On Sunday, we celebrate the resurrection of our one true living God, Jesus.
You may be watching at home in secret as Easter Sunday services play out.
You may be ashamed to admit that you need God, but don’t let shame hold you back from the one most important step you can make in your lifetime.
You may be embarrassed because your friends will mock you for admitting you need God.
Don’t let anyone or anything steal your free gift of salvation and everlasting life.
Today, you may be a closeted Christian, accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior in the secret of your own home. This closeted pursuit of God is fine for now, but know that there will be a point in time when God expects you to proclaim Jesus as your Lord and Savior boldly.

In the swirling fear of coronavirus, let’s go back to the basics – worship!

coronavirus_2.29.20WP

Its been a while since we just worshipped God. I think with all everything going on in our world right now, this is a good day to go back to that place of worship.
We need to use our worship to find His peace and serenity. In our worship, we find His love, and most of all, His presence!
God, we thank You for who You are. You are holy, magnificent, glorious, and beautiful.
Thank You for waking us up today. Thank You for keeping us safe last night as we slept.
God, we love You will all our hearts. We worship You for everything You have blessed us with.
We thank You for the food we have to eat, the bed we have to sleep in, the job to support our families, we thank You for our health, thank You for this day. For this is the day You created, and we shall be glad and rejoice in it (Psl118:24)
God, we thank You for our Savior, Jesus. Thank You that He took our place on the cross. Thank You, Father, for giving Your only Son, Jesus, to die in our place on the cross.
Because of Him, we are restored back to You. We say thank You, Father. Thank You for the comforter, the Holy Spirit.
Father, we thank You that You are our strong tower, our defender, our protector, and our warrior.
Father, thank You for Your peace, joy, and abundant happiness.
Thank You, Father, for the way You love us! You love us without expectation, and You love us just how we are. You love us, relentlessly!
Your love is unconditional, never-ending, never ceasing, and unfathomable
Thank You, Father, for Your mercy and grace that renews every morning.
Thank you, Father, for the pursuit of us. Thank You, God, that before the foundations of this world, You loved us.
Before this world was formed, You were thinking, planning, and in anticipation of us.
God, thank You for Your never-ending forgiveness.

Thank You for Your divine plans for our lives. Thank You that You have a purpose set out for each one of us.
Thank You that as we worship You, all fear, all doubts, all depression, all worries, and all anxieties must flee.
Thank You that our worship brings our focus back to You. It places You front and center, and everything else falls to the background.
Thank You that our worship moves mountains. It makes a way when there seems to be no way.
God, protect us. God, there is so much fear about coronavirus and the death that comes with it.
Father, right now, in the name above all names, we bind all viruses, including coronavirus. We loose perfect health and safety in its’s place.

God, Your word says that whatever we bind on earth is bound in heaven. Whatever we loose on earth is loosed in heaven(Matt18:18).
God, we thank You for Your divine protection for our families against all forms of viruses, disease, sickness, and coronavirus.
God, we command that we shall live and NOT DIE (Psl118:17) in the name of Jesus.
God, we place a hedge of protection around each one of our family members.
God, we place the whole armor of God on each of our family members(Eph6:10-18).
God, we thank You for everlasting life thought our Savior. Thank You that no weapon formed against us shall prosper.
Father, we cast every form of this virus to the pits of hell where it belongs.
Father, we ask Godly wisdom upon man to come up with a vaccine quickly.
Father, we ask for forgiveness for our disobedience of You. God, heal our lands.
Father, as fast as this virus appeared, we ask that it dissipate and disappear that quickly too.
God, we ask for protection over our President and his administration from all forms of sickness, disease. and all viruses. Angels, in the name of Jesus, surround the President, his family, and his whole administration and divinely protect them. Your word instructs us to pray for leaders (1Tim2:1-3).
God, we ask for divine protection around our troops and their families.
God, we ask protection around our children and their schools.
God, send angels to protect each one of us.

God, we ask all these things in the name of Jesus. Amen.

You must oppose your negative thoughts with God’s living words.

You must oppose your negative thoughts with the life of God’s words.
Your mind will deceive you. It will tell you that you will never amount to anything.
It will tell you that you are a failure. It will say that of all the people in the world, that God would not choose to use you incredibly.
You will hear your mind tell you that you will be poor forever. And it will say that you will never amount to anything.
But the devil is a liar! Here is something to encourage you.
When you hear those words echoing in your mind, you must combat them with God’s words. Say what God says about you. Open up your mouth and say the opposite. Speak life!
Verbally say you are blessed, victorious, loved, cherished, live in abundance, favored, thankful, and grateful. Say that everything your hand’s touch must flourish and that everywhere your feet touch you posses.
When you hear, you are always going to fail, you verbally say, God says I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me.
When you hear your thoughts saying, who do you think you are? That God doesn’t love you like that! You verbally come back saying, I am the chosen child of God. He created me to do big, outrageous, blockbuster, colossal, and humongous things for His glory.
Remember, you have power with your words and the POWER to change those negative thoughts.
If you want things to change, you must do something different. If you don’t want your tomorrow to be like today, speak life into it and stop believing your negative thoughts.
Your tomorrow is build by the positive words you speak into it today, not by the negative thoughts you keep holding onto.

Who is this God that left His throne for you?

Who is this God that came to be born a man to experience human life for you? Who is this God that experienced poverty, betrayal, temptations, hate, political, and governmental forces coming against Him, love, loyalty, and every other human emotion?
This God is Jesus. The one true son of God. He is our Savior who shed His blood for the redemption for each one of us.
He may have born poor but did not remain in poverty. How can a God who brings abundance to His children to allow His son to stay in poverty? Though Jesus experienced poverty, He did not remain in poverty. Jesus had to experience both.
There is no human experience that Jesus does not have first-hand knowledge about. He experienced it all. So there is nothing that you can’t bring to Him in prayer that He does not know about.
God gained knowledge of our human experience through His son, Jesus. So there is nothing we go through that God does not understand because of Jesus’ own experiences.
Today, whatever you are going through, bring it to God. Today, seek out the REAL reason for Christmas. That is the birth of our Savior, Jesus.
God gave each one of us the ultimate gift. That gift is Jesus, which is a priceless gift that promises eternal life. Today, seek out Jesus.

Yes, he was destined for the job!

god-bless-americaWP9.28.19

Last week I wrote about how our American President needs to be defended with our prayers and our voices.
I have to elaborate on this post from last week. Our current President is fulfilling his divine destiny. Yes, he was destined to be the President of the United States right now.
Everything he has been through in his life has prepared him for this destiny. God chose him a long, long time ago to fulfill this destiny. God knew he was the only one who could do this job, handle the daily scrutiny, and still manage to get things accomplished.
God set this man aside to do all of this for Him. To prepare America for the coming battle that will defeat our enemy, to defend Israel, to rebuild critical alliances, to demand and return respect America, to build up our armed services, and to rebuild America and Her economy.
As you read this, you may laugh to yourself and think this is crazy nonsense. That is fine. You are entitled to your opinion, but I know this to be the truth!
You may even despise our President. You may think he is too arrogant, outspoken, proud, and ridiculous. That is fine also. Again, you are entitled to your opinion!
Do I think he is perfect? No, of course, I do not. There are many things I wish he would say or do, but I still know who he is and what he was destined to do.
We have a job to do for God. He tells us that it is our job to pray for our leaders. Are you doing that? I am. Despite the things I don’t like about our President, I still pray for his safety, for him to always seek God for everything he needs, for God to humble him, and for God’s will to be done.
As I have mentioned in the past, we all will answer to God on judgment day. No one will escape God’s judgment. Once we have knowledge of God’s will, His word, or what He wants and expects of us, we are responsible for our actions/inactions. Once we are made aware of what God wants, we have to answer to Him for our inactions or actions.

If you despise the President, pray for forgiveness first as we are not to hate anyone. Second, pray for God to help you to pray for our President. Ask God to place tolerance in your heart and spirit for the President. Ask God to help you with the frustrations you feel towards this man. God will help you. He will ease your dislike of the man so you can pray for his safety and for God to direct him.
